See this for an explanation
- It would be nice if a bot could go and fix all the Consortium World List links to direct to https://cherokee.org/Portals/cherokeeorg/Language/Consortium%20Word%20List.pdf instead (that link is also dead now, need to find the new document)
- It would be nice to get a quote of what ᏪᏌ ᏍᏚᏗ said in Cherokee the 90th Academy Awards on his article

Questions:
- I've posted questions at talk pages of some articles including Talk:ᏛᎿᎢ ᏙᎪᏪᎸ, Talk:ᎥᎭᏴᎵ ᏗᏰᎴᎩ
- Is that written in correct Cherokee? (Perhaps it was written by a knowledgeable person: User talk:Aaron Walden)
- What is the best word for plants? It would be nice to use that word instead of Plantae as in Category:Plantae. However, does such a word that lumps together all plants (garden plants, shrubs [ᏚᏩᏱᏢ], trees [ᏕᏡᎬᎢ], etc.) exist in Cherokee? If not, then do we even need Category:Plantae? I'd say no if it's not a category inherent in the Cherokee language. ᏚᏰᎬᎢ is a word but does it exclude trees? (I created Category:ᏚᏰᎬᎢ because of that document.) The Noquisis word list gives ᏗᎦᎪᎯᏗ as plants. But this might be synonymous with ᏗᎦᎪᏗ (the Cherokee English Dictionary plural of ᎦᎪᏗ, which is defined as "n. plant (potted plants, young trees, young garden plants)" and is currently used at ᏗᎦᎪᏗ ᏚᎾᏙᎥ ᏙᎪᏪᎸ for the article "list of plants". A question at Talk:ᎦᎪᏘ exists, and the Consortium Word List gives ᎦᎪᏘ for "plant".
- ᏥᏍᏆ needs cleanup and linking with Wikidata if it's a correct match with bird. ᎯᎸᏍᎩ ᏥᏍᏆ is also a bird article it appears. ᎯᎸᏍᎩ ᏥᏍᏆ is the Noquisis Word List entry for birds. ᏥᏍᏆ is the Cherokee English Dictionary entry for bird. Also ᎯᎸᏍᎩᏥᏍᏆ (with no space) is given as birds. Which one should be kept? (Probably ᏥᏍᏆ then the first word can be ᎯᎸᏍᎩᏥᏍᏆ or ᎯᎸᏍᎩ ᏥᏍᏆ; ᎯᎸᏍᎩ means several and appears to pluralize nouns as a ~prefix with a space according to the online dictionary)
- Are the two Polish village articles, ᏲᏠᏫᏤ and Trojany, written in correct Cherokee?
- Should Cetacea be kept when ᏓᏆ exists? Is the text at Cetacea useful and is the see also link at ᏓᏆ useful?
- How should dialectal forms be presented, such as at ᎪᎷᏩᏛᏘ, where Western and Eastern varieties are shown?
- What are the Cherokee words for blueberry and azalea?
Articles that can be created
- ᏣᎳᎩ ᏧᎾᏕᎶᏆᏍᏗ (already created) (w:en:Cherokee Immersion School)
- ᎠᏤ ᎩᏚᏩ ᏧᎾᏕᎶᏆᏍᏗ (w:en:New Kituwah Academy)
- ᏣᎳᎩᎯ ᎠᏰᎵ (Cherokee Nation), ᎠᏂᎩᏚᏩᎩ ᎠᏂᏴᏫᏯ (United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians), and ᏣᎳᎩᏱ ᏕᏣᏓᏂᎸᎩ (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians)
- There is a new word list at ᎠᎦᏙᎲᏍᏗ, which contains many ideas for new articles (the red links mean articles do not yet exist)
- ᏨᏍᎪᏱ (insect) could be started
- Category:ᎠᏂᏣᎳᎩ shows only 2 Cherokee people with articles here, but several more are linked at ᏣᎳᎩ#ᎢᎦᏪᏛ_ᏣᎳᎩ_ᎤᎶᏒᎩ. English Wikipedia has about 107: en:w:Category:Cherokee people. ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏍᏗ can be updated with more articles of Cherokee people. And ᎠᏂᏣᎳᎩ can show more pictures of Cherokee people.
Notes that might help articles
- ᎩᏟ has some biological Cherokee words (classification words) in the infobox where other articles only have English
- A functioning commons link is at ᏖᎸᎳᏗ:
== ᎤᏓᏎᎦᏤᏗ (<-- that word means accident) ᏗᏕᎬᏔᏛ == {{commons|Grape|ᏔᎸᎳᏘ}}
- To add a reference section and an external link to commons:
== ᎤᏓᏎᎦᏤᏗ ᏗᏕᎬᏔᏛ ==
{{commons|English name|Cherokee name}}
- ᎠᏬᎭᎵ ᎠᏬᏚᎯ ᏧᎩᏓᏟ, for example, uses Template:Taxobox, which could have some red links removed and some Cherokee to replace the English
- Former editors include User:ᏳᎴᏂ, User:Yuchitown, and User:ᏪᏌ7, who appears to have started many articles relevant to Cherokee culture, see their list of contributions. Articles with an N next to them are ones that this person created. People who appear more active recently that have Cherokee knowledge are 81.109.161.68 and ᏌᏌ
