English: Antonio Gentili (1519-1609), also known as Antonio Gentili da Faenza, Italian goldsmith. The son of Pietro Gentili, a goldsmith in Rome. Member of the goldsmiths’ guild; master craftsman by 1552. His works influenced French and English artists.
