Cam Ranh Bay (Vietnamese: Vịnh Cam Ranh) is a deep-water bay in Khánh Hòa Province, Vietnam. From 1963 to 1972 the United States military built and operated a large logistics support, air, naval and combat base on the peninsula which was generally referred to as Cam Ranh Bay.
