The "Reichskommissariat Ukraine" was created as civil administration for the German occupated areas in Ukraine and neighbouring areas in September 1941. The "Reichskommissariat Ukraine" began their works on the 1st of September, 1941 and ends begin of 1944, as all territories of the then "Reichskommissariat Ukraine", still not Soviet-occupated, were subordinated to the "Reichskommissariat Ostland". The first stamps of the "Reichkommissariat Ukraine" were sold on 14 November 1941, after which the previous Ukrainian stamps could no longer be used as postage.
