[edit]- File:'Princess Yaroslavna in the burning church' scene from 'Prince Igor'.jpg
- File:0 Prince Igor - New York City Opera.jpg
- File:"Chernobyl Hell" scene from 'Katarina Izmailova' (17 October 2006).jpg
- File:'Interrogation of Florestan' scene from 'Fidelio' (9 November 2005).jpg
- File:Suicide scene from 'Madam Butterfly' (13-05-2007).jpg
Two main issues: (1) These photos of theatrical events are missing the permission of the stage design copyright holder (Commons:Copyright_rules_by_subject_matter#Concert_photography, unless there is some exemption in Serbia, though not all of these photos were taken there) and (2) I don't see documentation that the uploader is the author or that the author has otherwise given permission for the CC license. A shame because these photos are quite nice. (I'll also note that a number of the original uploader's files were deleted at enwp, where these was originally uploaded before their transfer.) This is also a test case for other photos in Category:Prince Igor – czar 22:31, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Except for File:Suicide scene from 'Madam Butterfly' (13-05-2007).jpg, there is no derivative work issue here. Yann (talk) 16:48, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Yann: Why is there no derviative work there? I'm assuming that the big projection on the wall that the image depicts something copyrighted. --B (talk) 03:07, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

- Keep in part. If you're taking a photo of an ornate set, that's clearly a derivative work. File:'Interrogation of Florestan' scene from 'Fidelio' (9 November 2005).jpg, however, is completely utilitarian - the clothing is completely plain and there are no creative set elements visible. I don't see how this could be considered a derivative work of anything. File:"Chernobyl Hell" scene from 'Katarina Izmailova' (17 October 2006).jpg and File:Suicide scene from 'Madam Butterfly' (13-05-2007).jpg I agree Delete as these are derivative works of a creative set design. File:0 Prince Igor - New York City Opera.jpg and File:'Princess Yaroslavna in the burning church' scene from 'Prince Igor'.jpg are the same photo (File:'Princess Yaroslavna in the burning church' scene from 'Prince Igor'.jpg looks like it is damaged in some way - the bottom piece of it is duplicated). This one is more of a middle ground. There are no sets depicted, but I suppose it could be argued that the costumes are not purely utilitarian. So I'm more Neutral on this one. --B (talk) 03:07, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
