Hi Tavio, Thank you for deleting an accidental duplicate of mine.
I have a question: I seem to remember that Wikimedia Commons had a feature that would recognize an attempt to upload a duplicate of an image based on the image itself rather than based on the file name. 5) на днях началась война правок (если так можно сказать). Её небольшое обсуждение есть здесь. На мой взгляд, тут нет никакой политики. Речь идёт о часовых поясах, а не о границах государств! Даже в описании файла есть три ссылки на то что в Крыму действует круглый год время UTC+3.
Поэтому, удалите все версии от 16 и 17 июля 2016 года: File:Time zones of Europe.svg

6) создайте пожалуйста в категории Clothes pegs дополнительные подкатегории. Например: Деревянные прищепки, Пластмассовые прищепки, Красные прищепки, Зелёные прищепки. Я не знаю как их правильно назвать на английском.

I am not writing you because you opposed but because of the rational you used. I interpreted this statement as Josve (an openly gay editor) should be tolerant towards homophobic, racist and sexist users and given the several reactions more people interpreted your statement in a similar way. The both of us aren't native English speakers so perhaps there is a language barriers but could you please clarify this? I hope this is all just some misunderstanding but your comment worries me. What means own work? when it consists data, there is no evidence that those numbers are just imagination. It is a promotion because it shows small (azeri populated) historical region as most of east Georgia and puts not sourced numbers of ethnic Turkic people (not even Azerbaijanis), I can draw same map making half of Azerbaijan as ethnic Georgian will it be correct? Hiya Taivo! Just a note... I have published a big book on frogs, I own the copyright. If I wanted to put the cover of my book on Commons, I don't think I need the publisher's permission, the entire work is (C) Ellin Beltz. What do you think? Ellin Beltz (talk) 15:18, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

The text is yours, but layout, including front and back covers, are usually copyrighted by publishing houses. Entire work is not @ Ellin Beltz. If there is a photo of frog on cover, then the photographer has also part of copyright. If there is a drawing of frog on cover, then sometimes the artist has part of copyright – it depends on contract between artist and publishing house. Maybe you ask, what happens with books, where publishing house does not claim copyright. These are "We publish anything for money" type publishing houses and these books generally lack notability. Thank you for taking another look. I looked at the source url provided and it says under "Rights advisory" that the right status of the file has not been evaluated. It also says "Rights assessment is your responsibility" near the bottom of the page. That seems to mean that the Library of Congress is not clearly saying this is free from copyright protection. This page refers to Canada quite a bit which might mean the country of origin is Canada. The creator of the image died in 2001 so I doesn't seem possible for enough time to have passed since his death for the work to be considered copyright free per pma as the {{PD-US-no notice}} says, but not sure. -- Marchjuly (talk) 09:30, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

Question about deleted images

Would you mind providing some more detail on the deletion rationales for File:Black Stars Gate 1.jpg and File:Black Stars Gate 2.jpg? After discussing this with an admin, it doesn't appear the rationale fits the license provided with the images. I came across the images while processing ticket:2016070410008219. User:BU Rob13, thank you for asking. It seems to me now, that I wrote a wrong rationale. If you open COM:FOP#Ghana, then you see, that there is no freedom of panorama in Ghana. Such photos need usually OTRS-permission from architect and (if taken at night) lighting engineer. Correct rationale would be "derivative work of copyrighted content". Another problem: author of both photos was said to be Kobe Subramanian and I suspected his/her copyright violation. Taivo (talk) 16:45, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

Поэтому, скажите пожалуйста, можно ли загружать на Викисклад чертежи в форматах DWG или DXF? Если их можно загружать, то будут ли они корректно отображаться в браузерах?

И это при том, что на Викискладе много файлов в формате pdf. Возможно, стоит уточнить этот список. I don't understand where is the problem. All of these pictures are over 70 years old. You have no right to delete them. From the other hand there are numerous pictures like mine from blogs and forums:

I think you are right here: Cristian told us about the allowance of the local administration in the city, but there is the additional sculptor's copyright, and the photo is not "De minimis". With sculptor's-permission (OTRS) it would be possible to keep the photo here. Is a tag "CC-BY-SA 3.0" added by the artist direct to contemporary art (Graffity in Rome for example), or the sculptures uploaded to WLM a legal possibility? --LudwigSebastianMicheler (talk) 13:53, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

This is needed for people like me. I even could not suspect, that land of Valencia needs "the". I was really surprised. And I did not know, that redirects appear that way in headings. 9) обратите пожалуйста внимание на категорию Lancaster, California. Там очень много чёрно белых фотографий. То ли это исторические снимки, то ли это заброшенные объекты, но мне кажется их можно объединить в какую-нибудь подкатегорию. Правда я не знаю в какую.

10) создайте пожалуйста в категории Download icons подкатегорию с SVG иконками. А также, разве эти две иконки свободные: File:Farm-Fresh download for mac.png и File:Farm-Fresh download for windows.png?

В общем  Done. Пункт 1 по-моему не нужен. Пункт 8 – хороших категории нет. Первые 18 файлов можно категоризовать в category:CMOS, 2 последних в category:Finite state machine, а все остальные в category:Digital circuits. "Suspected copyright violation" of files of MisterX123

Aquí hay algo que no entiendo. Quizás los archivos de File:600px - Sporting San José Flag.png y File:600px - White with a diagonal red flag.png sean violaciones a los supuestos derechos de autor, pero lo que queda en duda es en el archivo File:600px - Yellow and Red diagonal divided.png, ya que no representa a ningún equipo en particular, solamente es una bandera de colores diagonales y un balón en el centro. No creo que fuera para el "suspected copyright violation" porque he visto otras banderas de fantasía que contienen un balón igual que la que subí. Por ejemplo, estos archivos poseen exactamente los mismos aspectos añadidos (licencia) y no se les dice nada: File:600px Bianco e Rosso (Bordato) con pallone.png, File:600px Emmen.png, File:600px Granata con Pallone.png, entre otros. Quiero una explicación de cómo subir una bandera de fantasía, ya que la de los equipos de la liga mexicana tienen patrones parecidos y no se les ha dado ninguna advertencia. Por otra parte, los permisos de File:Escudo de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol.png están correctamente visibles (plantillas - templates), su fuente (source) y el autor (author). Hay archivos de escudos de federaciones de fútbol que están exactamente iguales al que subí en el ámbito de plantillas, por ejemplo File:Deutscher Fußball-Bund logo.svg, File:Escudo Federación Colombiana de Fútbol.svg, File:Logo de la Federación de Fútbol de Chile.png y File:Federación Peruana de Fútbol (2011).png. Entonces, mi archivo debe permanecer en Commons porque no infringí ningún derecho de autor y no existe ningún "copyright violation". Luego, no encuentro una explicación para el archivo File:Logo de la Primera División de Costa Rica.png, tiene la licencia (permission), autor (author) y fuentes (source) correctas, no se está infringiendo los derechos de autor. En comparación con otras ligas, las subidas de File:MX logo.png, File:LaLiga Santander.svg, File:MLS logo.svg, File:Logo Primera División de Uruguay.png poseen exactamente los mismos permisos que le asigné a mi subida y aún así es marcada como "suspected copyright violation". Esto es una injusticia, y algo discriminatorio al excluir un archivo que tiene todo correcto solo por ser de un país que no es tan relevante en la página. Por favor, pido que retiren la etiqueta de posible eliminación. Para continuar, la subida File:Extra TV 42 logo.png es un archivo de un canal de televisión, tampoco se está infringiendo los derechos de autor porque posee todas las licencias correctas con sus fuentes y autores. Hay otras cadenas de televisión que también tienen los mismos templates o plantillas que yo utilicé, por ejemplo: File:AMC logo 2016.png, File:800pxSci Fi Universal.jpg, File:3TV sigla veche.jpg, entre otras más. Por último, el archivo de File:Sporting SJ.png es un escudo de un equipo de fútbol, se especificó el nombre de la fuente (source), autor (author) y todas las plantillas (templates) que indican que es propiedad de otra entidad y no exactamente mía. Los permisos que le asigné a la subida mía son los mismos que están agregados en otros escudos, como el del File:Borussia Dortmund logo.svg, File:Logo FC Bayern München.svg, File:Logo-VfL-Wolfsburg.svg, File:New York City FC logo.png. Por favor, les pido que retiren las plantillas de eliminación en cada uno de los archivos porque todos poseen las licencias que les corresponde. Here is something that I can't understand. Maybe the files File:600px - Sporting San José Flag.png and File:600px - White with a diagonal red flag.png are supposed to be copyright violations, but the upload of File:600px - Yellow and Red diagonal divided.png doesn't represent any individual team because it is a flag divided by two diagonal colors where a ball is in the middle. By the way I corrected their permissions and I added the template of ((Bandeira falsa)) which means the flag is useful only to facilitate visual identification of some articles within Wikipedia. That flag has some visual elements that are similar to official logos or coats of arms of certain clubs, such as colors or some symbol, but it is NOT official and doesn't have any direct relation to the crest, symbol or official flag of the club. I consider there's no reason for the "suspected copyright violation" because other users have uploaded similar content like those files: File:600px Bianco e Rosso (Bordato) con pallone.png, File:600px Emmen.png, and File:600px Granata con Pallone.png. If the problem continues being wrong for any reason, I'll ask you how to upload a fantasy flag correctly. Other examples are the fantasy flags of Mexican League, to be more specific, in the Spanish article. There are a lot of flags that have similar elements to their official logos and the permissions are the same as I put to my files. On the other side, the permissions of File:Escudo de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol.png are added correctly (templates, source and author). In fact, I had to change the author because FEDEFUTBOL had changed its domain name. There are some other examples that sources are exactly the same as I added to my file: File:Deutscher Fußball-Bund logo.svg, File:Escudo Federación Colombiana de Fútbol.svg, File:Logo de la Federación de Fútbol de Chile.png, and File:Federación Peruana de Fútbol (2011).png. So, my file should be stay in Commons because I did not upload it without permissions. Then, I have no idea why the file File:Logo de la Primera División de Costa Rica.png is tagged with the "suspected copyright violation" because it has the correct license or permission, author and sources, that means that I was not distributing the file without permissions. In comparison to other soccer leagues logos, the uploads of File:MX logo.png, File:LaLiga Santander.svg, File:MLS logo.svg, and File:Logo Primera División de Uruguay.png have exactly the same permissions that I put to my file, and although I did that, it was considered a "copyright violation". That's why I ask you to please retire the deletion tag. To continue, the file File:Extra TV 42 logo.png is related to a TV channel, and it was not a copyright violation because it has the correct licenses with its source and author. There are other TV network logos that have the same templates that I used, for example: File:AMC logo 2016.png, File:800pxSci Fi Universal.jpg, and File:3TV sigla veche.jpg. To conclude, the upload of this file File:Sporting SJ.png is a sport club logo in which its source, author and the templates are specified well, just like in other examples of logos of File:Borussia Dortmund logo.svg, File:Logo FC Bayern München.svg, File:Logo-VfL-Wolfsburg.svg and File:New York City FC logo.png. Please, I ask you to retire those deletion tags because my files have the correct licenses and permissions. VIP Music Records image

Hi do no understand why did you remove the VIP Music Records file?

@Inuevayork: , thank you for asking. Only simple logos can be in Commons without OTRS-permission. Sony Music logo is simple, file:Vip music records.jpg is not simple. Please look threshold of originality about which logo is simple and which isn't. Even complicate logos can be in Commons, if there is proper permission. Please open COM:OTRS page and look, what kind of e-mail must be sent to Commons permissions department. After receiving the permission Vip music records logo can be restored. @Taivo: Thanks for letting me know, so i should ask the label for a permission? well will read, about the other tags on the other pictures for example Luis Almonte that expecifit picture contain the camera code meaning is original an no coming from no one else more than the photographer. i am trying to understand for example you deleted Fabrizio's picture as well thats a public picture took on verizon event and its has no copyright because its no. if you can provide me more info will love to understand i will read about how to reach the commons and see if vip can be restore.

Probably you are talking about Commons:Deletion requests/File:Iroman and Fabrizio.jpg. I did not delete the file. I nominated it for deletion, because the photo violated copyright of toymaker/sculptor. Such kind of photos are allowed to make in some countries, but not in USA. If you have made these photos yourself, you can simply upload them into Commons. But if your photos have no EXIF data or if EXIF shows different camera model each time, then other users start to suspect, that they are not your own work. Taivo (talk) 14:50, 24 September 2016 (UTC)
