If you are not the artist who created the poster, it is certainly NOT your "own work". Infrogmation 16:41, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Infrogmation, for seeing to it an image with the wrong copyright tag was deleted leaving an article on Wikipedia with a broken link and no picture. Perhaps a better approach would have been to either give the image the appropriate tag, or upload an allowable version of the image, like someone else did. For that would have actually been helpful, as I could have learned something from the example and the accompanying article wouldn't have been left incomplete. Taking the time to point out that I did something wrong (in what I find to be arrogant looking capital letters) instead of using that time to fix the problem is half-assed and I'm surprised by how many editors and administrators such as yourself will do it. Hi, thank you for contributing this picture from Fukushima. Do you think it conforms with Commons:Country specific consent requirements? Specifically, do you have consent from the subjects to publish it under a free license? If you do, please inform me or just edit the file page and change {{consent|query}} to {{consent|full}}. If you don't, I suggest the seven subjects should somehow be de-identified in the picture, or it has to be regretfully deleted. Thank you for your understanding! --whym (talk)

Thank you for your reply. I think the consent was needed, and I'm glad hearing that you had it from the six students. Even if a photo is taken in a public place in Japan, it needs to be reasonably a matter of interest within the society in order to publish without the subject's consent - a typical acceptable example would be publishing a picture of a politician giving a speech at an public event, which is quite different from the nature of your picture. It is still unclear to me about the other woman on the left - did you also ask her about publishing the picture? Otherwise I suggest cropping out her. After that, could you please edit the page and replace {{consent|query}} to {{consent}} to indicate the status? (I have noticed that "full" is too strong this case; see also {{Consent}}) Regarding getting additional permission from the students - of course it would be kind of you if you could send some written consent to us at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (please include the file name and your user name if you choose to do so). However, I don't think that would be required - we usually trust long-time contributors like you :) --whym (talk)
