Category discussion warning

Projector has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

PD-ROC-Official

[edit]

Hello, I saw that you uploaded a number of images with this license, can you tell me if this license only applies to text or also to images and where I can find information related to it. For example the "Triple Stimulus Vouchers". --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 21:21, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Donald Trung: How do you define "PD-ROC-official"? I thought Triple Stimulus Voucher was issued by the Government of ROC. Are you from Taiwan(R.O.C.)? --~User:OnionBulb (talk) 04:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm Vietnamese-Australian, but I had recently filed an undeletion request based on "{{PD-ROC-official}}" for the images you see at "w:zh:振興經濟消費券" because I believed these to have the same license as the 振興三倍券. Is there a website or publication where I can find that the 振興三倍券 and 振興經濟消費券 are seen as non-currency government documents? For example this image. As this is also a similar coupon issued by the government of the Republic of China 🇹🇼 (Taiwan). I wrote this article and wanted to add more images. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 20:25, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Donald Trung: You might google or search it yourself. I just took a picture with my phone and uploaded it. --~User:OnionBulb (talk) 14:12, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I did, all the information is in Traditional Chinese and I'm not fluent enough in it to work with it, plus Google Translate sucks. the undeletion request was closed with the reasoning "No evidence that the artwork depicted on the vouchers are exempted from copyright and it appears that ZH-WP treats the vouchers as currency, and assumed to be protected under ROC copyright law as if it were currency.", which would mean that the Triple Stimulus Vouchers are also copyrighted in the same way. What I'm trying to do here is prevent your images from being deleted and have the ability to upload better images of Triple Stimulus Vouchers. Unfortunately I can't contact the Republic of China government as they likely don't answer questions by foreigners (most governments don't). --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 18:00, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder

[edit]

Hi, OnionBulb. I noticed that you've made a malformed deletion request. Here, {{Delete}} is not for speedy deletion, please see COM:DP. When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template (rather than the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests), you must follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion (or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually policy or the "By hand" portion of COM:CFD#Starting requests, normally collapsed), otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 15:56, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your friendly reminder. ~User:OnionBulb (talk) 18:53, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you've uploaded File:ChntpwKali202303livecdVbox20230923.webm and I thought I should draw your attention to a common error. Please give uploaded files meaningful names. Otherwise they are difficult to track and it is hard to tell what the file is about without actually looking at it. I suggest you rename your image with an intuitive name that describes the file itself. Thanks, and happy editing!
