Photograph/collage of cloud types
[edit]Hi, I have reverted your change to the file File:Cloud types.jpg, because you have replaced an image with another one without providing the source of the photographs (this is a derivative work and as such, all the elements must be either in the public domain or under a creative commons license). If your photo meets all the requirements, please upload it as a separate file (such as "Cloud types 2" for instance). I'm sure it is very valuable for Wikimedia projects, but please se Commons:Overwriting existing files. Thanks Skimel (talk) 17:41, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
@Skimel Hello, I was just peeping at my son's old commons page and found this edit by you. What photo was it? Where was it? He used to upload my work, but I never had a file called Collage of Could Types that I can recall. Also, he never would have uploaded a file improperly. Everything was licensed or it didn't go up here. I'd like to see this mystery collage. Was this a Cloud Chart originally posted on another user's page? If so, I remember it. It was a better version of a terrible version. I'm curious if that was it. Thanks Jessie Eastland (talk) 22:42, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, the file is here : File:Cloud types.jpg. The only issue with the upload of your son (or of you) is that it overwrote a different file. The license is fine ; it only should have been uploaded under a different name. Have a nice day ! Skimel (talk) 07:21, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, sorry about that. The main editor of the cloud article was looking for a better version of that chart. I located one, and should have had my son uploaded it as another work (another file name). My apologies. For some reason, at the time, I must have thought it was the same author with an improved version. Thanks. I'll stay clear of that mess as I don't recall too many details of that particular upload.
