Cooking Instructions

Firstly, for boiling the noodles: In a large cooking pot add water, salt and oil. When the water boils, add the noodles and cook for 6-7 minutes. Drain the water and rinse the noodles with tap or cold water. Wait for 2 minutes. Then pour few drops of oil and mix and set it aside.

Heat oil in a large kadai/cooking pot. Add the chopped garlic and green chillies and saute on high flame for few seconds. Then add the sliced onions and saute on high flame for a minute.

Add the sliced carrot and cabbage and saute on high flame for a minute. Do not over cook the vegetables.

Next add the chopped white part of spring onions, salt and black pepper and saute on high flame for a minute.

Now add the cooked noodles and saute on high flame for a minute or two.

Next add the schezwan chutney and mix until the chutney is well combined. To make this Veg Schezwan Noodles, I have used only schezwan chutney. You can also add 1 tsp ketchup, 1 tbsp red chilli sauce, 1 tsp light soy sauce and 1 tsp vinegar.

Lastly, garnish it with the green part of spring onions and mix it well.

Delicious Veg Schezwan Noodles is ready. Serve it hot.
