Ingredients

  1. 3 skirt steak or any other steak for slow cooking
  2. 5 tbsp soy sauce
  3. 2 tbsp gochujang
  4. 3 tbsp mirin
  5. 2 tbsp honey
  6. 2 tbsp garlic purée
  7. 1 tbsp ginger purée
  8. Black pepper, to taste
  9. 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  10. 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  11. Spring Onion (Chopped)
  12. Sesame Seeds (Garnish)
  13. Sauce
  14. 3 tbsp greek yogurt
  15. 1 tbsp gochujang
  16. 1 tsp chili oil
  17. Salt & pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    In an empty rice cooker, add beef steaks. Add all ingredients except Oyster sauce and sesame oil.

    Put on slow cooking for about 3 hours. (or 1.5 hours each time)

    Once it's cooked, then shred the beef and add Oyster sauce and sesame oil and mix well.

    Prepare sauce. Once the beef is ready, serve with rice and spring onion sesame seeds on top.

Living in Dublin with my Irish partner who is celiac. My recipes are Gluten Free (GF). Most of my recipes are Asian food and I use soya sauce a lot in them. Regular soya sauce is not GF, but you can get GF one from supermarkets.
