Sweet Miso Sardine Rice Bowl
My Sardine rice bowl recipes, such as ‘Garlic Sardines Rice Bowl’, seem to be very popular. I am happy to know many people somewhere in the world are cooking them. This is another easy rice bowl that I often cook with canned Sardines. I recommend to use a lighter coloured Miso for this dish.
Cooking Instructions
-
1
Make Miso Sauce by mixing all ingredients in a small bowl.
-
2
Place drained Sardines, Spring Onion and Sesame Oil in a small frying pan, heat over medium heat, and cook for a minute.
-
3
Add the Sauce and simmer over a low heat for a minute, and let all combined well.
-
4
Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with the Sardine mixture. Sprinkle with some Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix) OR Ground Chilli, and enjoy.
