  1. 2 lb top round steak, tenderized
  2. 1 cup onion
  3. 1/2 cup carrot, diced
  4. 1/2 cup celery, diced
  5. 2 tsp garlic, minced
  6. 2 tbsp tomatoe paste
  7. 1/2 cup brandy
  8. 1 1/2 cup fzn pearl onion
  9. 1 can tomatoes, diced 28 oz
  10. 1 cup chicken broth
  11. 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  12. 2 tsp paprika

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 325

    Dredge steak in flour, sear in veg oil until browned

  3. 3

    Remove steak, add 2 T oil, reduce heat

  4. 4

    Stir in onion, carrot, celery, garlic; saute 2 min

  5. 5

    Add tomatoe paste, cook 1 min

  6. 6

    Deglaze w brandy and simmer until nearly evaporated

  7. 7

    Add pearl onions, tomatoes, broth, Worcestershire, paprika.

    Return steak to pot submerged in liquds. Cover, brause in oven hunter tender, apx 1 hr
