Here are five things you need to know about the new Robson Street Sephora.
1. It’s huge
8,600 sq ft, to be exact – that’s almost 1.5 times the size of the store at Pacific Centre. It’s spread over two levels and will also offer extended opening hours – you’ll be able to get your beauty fix from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. every day except Sunday, when shutters go down at 8 p.m.
2. You can get your brows done there
The Benefit Brow Bar (that will be opening soon) will offer waxing, tweezing and tinting from $14-45, with, or without an appointment.
3. There’s hairstyling too
New York pro hair brand Bumble & Bumble is setting up its first Sephora hair studio offering five styles: Surf Waves, Instant Fullness, Undercut Braid, Sublime Softness and Downtown Updo. Each will cost $30 and take 20 minutes or less, no appointment necessary.
4. You can find your perfect foundation, skincare and fragrance match
There’s no more testing foundations on your jawline till you find one that doesn’t make you look orange. The SEPHORA + PANTONE COLOR IQ system scans the surface of your skin to assess the colour, then searches 1,900 foundations to find your exact shade. There are also skincare- and fragrance-matching services that help find your ideal products through quizzes and questions.
If you prefer the human touch, chat with a personal beauty advisor who will create your personal beauty plan covering makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance, available with a minimum purchase of $125.
5. You get a free umbrella
Members of the store’s Beauty Insider scheme get a free Vancouver-inspired umbrella when they spend $25 on opening day, October 31, while stocks last.
