- مدرسة الخضيرة الديموقراطية (بالإنجليزية:Democratic School of Hadera)، هي مدرسة ديموقراطية تقع في مدينة الخضيرة بإسرائيل تم تأسيسها عام 1987 من قبل ياكوف هيشت. يبلغ عدد الطلاب بها 380 طالب بأعمار تتراوح من 4 إلى 18 عامًا. وهي أكبر مدرسة ديموقراطية من ال25 مدرسة ديموقراطية بإسرائيل. تدار المدرسة من قبل برلمان مدرسي إسبوعي حيث أن لكل من الطلاب والمعلمين والآباء والخريجين حق في التصويت. ومع ذلك يشارك قليل من الآباء والخريجين في اجتماعات البرلمان. للطلاب كامل الحرية في اختيار حضور الحصص الدراسية، أو قضاء أوقاتهم في أنشطة أخرى مثل الموسيقى، الرياضة، الرسم، الكمبيوتر، القراءة، التحدث، أو عدم فعل شيء على الإطلاق. في عام 1993 أقيم أول مؤتمر للتعليم الديموقراطي العالمي في المدرسة الديموقراطية بالخضيرة. وأقيم مرة أخرى في هذه المدرسة عام 1996. وفي عام 2017 سيتم استضافة هذا المؤتمر مجددًا للمرة الثالثة في هذه المدرسة. Mit ca. 400 Schülern zwischen vier und 18 Jahren ist sie zugleich die größte demokratische Schule des Landes sowie die zweitgrößte weltweit. - The Democratic School of Hadera is a democratic school in Hadera, Israel. It was founded in 1987 by Yaacov Hecht. With around 400 students aged four to eighteen, it is the largest of the twenty-six Israeli democratic schools. The school is governed by a weekly school parliament in which all students, teachers, parents and alumni have an equal vote. However, few parents and alumni participate in parliament meetings. Students are free to decide if they want to attend classes or spend their time on other activities such as music, sports, art, computers, reading, talking, socializing, or doing nothing at all. In 1993 the first International Democratic Education Conference (IDEC) was held at the Democratic School of Hadera. In years 1996 and 2017 it was held again at that school. (en)
- A Escola Democrática de Hadera, nascida em 1987, em Hadera, no distrito de Haifa, em Israel é uma escola de educação democrática e educação integral, para crianças e jovens de quatro a 18 anos de idade. É um espaço de ensino que tenta garantir o direito de escolha do estudante no que e em como aprender, bem como na experiência quotidiana de um colectivo democrático. É uma escola que respeita o que chama de soberania dos estudantes, apoiando-os a agir de forma autónoma. Ela é baseada em teorias de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Martin Buber, Carl Rogers, e Janusz Korczak, em que a escola e é estruturada de forma a garantir que não exista uma cisão entre a vida na cidade, em comunidade e a vida escolar. Em 2013, devido ao resultado ser tão positivo desta escola, o Ministro da Educação do governo de Israel de então propôs a um dos seus fundadores, , ampliar a ideia na implementação desse modelo em diversas cidades do país e, para garantir a formação de profissionais que compreendessem a proposta, foi criada aí uma universidade especializada nessa educação.
