- L'Arbre de vie (en anglais : Tree of Life) est le symbole du parc Disney's Animal Kingdom, c'est une sous-espèce géante de Disneyodendron. Il est présent dans le parc depuis son ouverture le 22 avril 1998. Il est situé au milieu de l'île de Discovery Island. Il accueille au creux de ses racines une salle de cinéma en 3D de 420 places présentant les personnages du film 1001 pattes dans le spectacle It's Tough to be a Bug!, attraction installée en 2001 dans le parc Disney's California Adventure. - The Tree of Life is a 145-foot (44 m) sculpture of a baobab tree at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort. It has over 8,000 branches of very different sizes and about 102,000 artificial leaves. It debuted when the attraction opened on April 22, 1998. Inspired by the mythological concept, the Tree of Life features 325 carvings of existing and extinct animal species on its trunk and surrounding roots; after Jane Goodall's visit, her famous subject David Graybeard was carved into the tree. The sculpture took 18 months to create. Designed and fabricated at Greens Bayou Fabrication Yard in Houston and based on the natural forms of baobab trees, the Tree of Life is located on Discovery Island, roughly in the center of the park. The tree features over 100,000 thermoplastic kynar leaves. At the structure's interior base is a 428-seat theater that hosts It's Tough to Be a Bug!, a 3-D film attraction based on the 1998 Disney/Pixar film A Bug's Life. There is also a secret path that park goers can walk up to take a close look at the sculpture. (en)

Sito al centro dell'area di Discovery Island, divenne visitabile a partire dal 22 aprile 1998, giorno di apertura del Disney's Animal Kingdom. Il Tree of Life ha l'aspetto di un baobab, è alto quarantaquattro metri ed è largo 15 metri. Rappresenta 325 bassorilievi di animali viventi ed estinti sulla sua corteccia, conta 102.583 foglie fatte a mano in PVDF e quarantacinque rami secondari che si diramano in 756 rami terziari. Alla base interiore della struttura è presente un teatro munito di quattrocento posti a sedere che trasmette lo spettacolo in 4D It's Tough to Be a Bug! ispirato al film Disney/Pixar A Bug's Life - Megaminimondo. Presso il Tree of Life vengono trasmessi dei video mapping noti come Tree of Life Awakenings, che debuttarono il 27 maggio 2016. Un'anteprima di questi spettacoli venne presentata il 19 aprile 2016.
