Model Cars - Momo
MOMO was founded in 1964 by Giampiero Moretti, an Italian entrepreneur with a passion for motorsports and automotive design.
The name "MOMO" comes from a combination of his first name (Giampiero) and his last name (Moretti).
MOMO quickly became a name associated with quality and performance in the automotive industry, thanks to its premium products designed for car enthusiasts, racers, and motorsport teams.
While MOMO is best known for its accessories, it also ventured into creating special edition cars and collaborations with various car manufacturers.
One of the most notable collaborations between MOMO and an automaker was with Mitsubishi. The MOMO Mitsubishi Mirage was a special edition of the Mitsubishi Mirage in the 1990s.
Another example of MOMO’s involvement with car manufacturing is the MOMO Lamborghini Gallardo. This was a limited edition version of the famous Lamborghini Gallardo, created in partnership with Lamborghini.
While MOMO is no longer directly involved in car manufacturing to the extent it once was, its brand identity as a supplier of high-performance parts and accessories remains strong. MOMO products continue to be a symbol of motorsports quality, Italian craftsmanship, and design excellence.
