I see this all the time! I was recently on a conference where one guy grabbed a talk about basically the same solution that I developed (some Text2SQL functionality with AI). I worked hard to get this working with Ollama, tested out different LLMs and even did some model finetuning and only got a poster. He just used OpenAPI with prompt injection and grabbed a talk.
I call this cheating and also kind of dangerous, because business internals can easily be collected by third parties and sold to others.
