The Type 23 was available in a variety of configurations, including a panel van, a passenger van, and a pickup truck. The bus was popular with families, businesses, and military organizations. The Type 23 was discontinued in 1967 and was replaced by the Volkswagen Type 2, also known as the VW Bus or Kombi.
