First Demonstration of a Tunable Single-Bandpass Photonic Radiofrequency Filter Based on Optical Frequency Comb from a Microring

Abstract

We demonstrate a photonic radiofrequency filter with greatly reduced complexity based on optical frequency comb from a SiN microring. A novel structure is proposed to suppress unwanted passbands and achieve a widely tunable single passband.
