Freezing Blizzard is a breath attack in the Dragon Quest series. It emits an ice-cold breath attack on all enemies for either 40~60 damage or 120~140 damage.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]
In remake versions of the game, Freezing Blizzard can be used by Baramonsters, Metal chimaeras, Zoma, and Xenlon, and deals 100~139 damage to the entire party. Although the game's text states that C-c-cold Breath is being used, it is actually Freezing Blizzard.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
Freezing Blizzard is used in the remakes by Chillanodons, Dragooners, Testudogres, Croaked kings, Seasaurs, Barbatoses, Marquis de Léon when he is faced in Chapter 5, and Estark. It deals 40~60 damage to the entire party.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
Freezing Blizzard makes its first appearance in the series as the second stage of ice breath, dealing 50~60 damage to the entire party. It is learned by monster companions such as the Chimaera. On the enemy side, it can be used by Blizzybodies, Dragon zombies, Snowbirds, Drakensteins, and Kon the Knight.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
In the Nintendo DS and smartphone versions of the game, Freezing Blizzard is learned by Shelley at Level 35. In the original Super Famicom game, Dreamaera learns the ability at Level 30. Other characters can obtain this technique by advancing to rank 6 of the Dragon Vocation. On the enemy side, it can be used by Aggrosculptures, Demon overlords, Dreadstaffs, Pudgedevils, Mortamor's final form, and Hammer.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be learned by mastering the Seasaur vocation, reaching rank 5 as a Galumph, or rank 4 as an Ersatz Estark. On the enemy side, it can be used by Black books, Ersatz Estark, Fright knights, Grotwyrms, Night knights, Master moosifers, Seasaurs, Hybris, and Orgodemir's second form when faced at the Malign Shrine, and his first form in the final battle.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be used by the Ultimate Dragon, Hellspawns, Leopold, Rhapthorne in both of his forms, and Silhouettes. The Ultimate Dragon will often raise his Tension before using it on the party. Munchie can also use Freezing Blizzard after eating Cold cheese, and the recruitable Infamous Monster Jack Frost can also use it.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be used by Aggrosculptures, Cumulus hexes, Drastic drackals, Firn fiends, Fright knights, Corvus's second form, Nodoph, and Orgodemir from Levels 1-40. It deals 60~89 ice damage to the entire party.
Dragon Quest X[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be learned by Imps as a monster companion with the Ice Breath Knowledge skill tree for 7 skill points, inflicting 60~90 ice damage for 7 MP.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be used by Blizzybodies, Boreal serpents, Malicious chillanodons, Vicious dragon slimes in the postgame, Dragon zombies, Dragooners, Hellriders, Vicious iron maidens, Vicious kriller killers, Masqueraiders, Metal dragon slimes, Steel sirens, Terrornodons. It deals around 80 ice damage to the entire party.
Dragon Quest Monsters[edit]
Known as IceStorm in this game, it is an upgraded form of IceAir. IceAir grows into IceStorm when the monster reaches Level 20 with 140 HP. IceStorm grow into WhiteAir when the monster reaches Level 30 with 210 HP.

Freezing Blizzard costs 15 MP and deals 86~103 damage to all enemies. It is learned through the Cold Snapper, Deep Breather, Demoniac, Frosty Receptionist, Mortamor, Respirator, Xenlon, and Zoma talents.
Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]
Freezing Blizzard costs 7 MP to use and can be learned by Ham shamwitchs, Icy draglings, Queen slimes, Shadows, Silver sabrecats, Valhalla vultures, and Wight princes.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Freezing Blizzard can be learned by Trap box at Level 22, Boreal serpent at Level 42, and Dragon slime at Level 46. It costs 57 MP to use and inflicts moderate Crack-type breath damage to any enemies in a straight line of three squares in front of the user. The skill was originally named Frigid Blizzard at the game's start, but was changed to Freezing Blizzard after the Version 2.0 update.
