The Jackal ripper is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a beastman grappler whose name is a play on the infamous British serial killer Jack the Ripper.
Characteristics[edit]
Raging ripped beasts that battle with menacing metal sharpened claws and even sharper fangs, flying into fights with their weapons waving and teeth gnashing. They have dark brown fur and wear greyish-purple wrestling trunks and boots. The jackals save their strength up to unleash their searing attacks, even able and agile enough to flip through the air and strike all foes in a single swoop. They also like to whip out a menacing marital art, the rugged roundhouse kick, striking all foes with a single frantic kick.
