Rapunzel is a character from the Disney film Tangled (2010). She is encountered in the jungle biome on Eternity Isle, the Wild Tangle.

Unlocking her requires purchasing the expansion A Rift in Time. She will join the village after completing the the quest The Tower.

Her home is a tall stone tower which can be found in The Grove. Once unlocked, she will be added to the Eternity Isle Characters Collection.

Unlocking

After opening access to the Wild Tangle, a chain of three story quests becomes available from Rapunzel - The Ancient Door, The Sundial, and The Tower. Complete the quests, and when The Tower has been completed Rapunzel will join the Village.

The quests chain requires clearing obstacles and gathering resources around the Isle. Gaining access to Rapunzel's Tower during The Tower requires unlocking The Grove area in the Wild Tangle for 4,000 Mist.

To start the quest chain speak to Rapunzel, who will be standing behind the waterfall in the eastern-most section of The Grasslands in the Wild Tangle.

Rapunzel lives in a very tall stone tower named Rapunzel's Tower which is found in The Grove area in the Wild Tangle on Eternity Isle. It is placed already when first unlocking the area, and can be entered during the quest The Tower. It's unlocked, along with Rapunzel joining the village, after completing quest The Tower.

Do you have a favorite animal?

Hmm... I don't think I've ever met an animal I haven't loved. But I guess I DO have a soft spot for Pascal, my chameleon friend. Have you ever met a chameleon before? →  Yes, and it was amazing! Right? They make the BEST friends. Pascal lets me sew him dresses, and we play chess and hide-and-seek every day! →  No, they're too good at hiding! Well, they are VERY good at that. Especially during games of hide-and-seek. →  I like horses better. Horses are so nice! I know an absolute sweetheart horse named Maximus. He doesn't warm to everyone immediately, but he does have a wonderful heart.

Do you like exploring the jungle?

I love it! Every time I turn, I see something new. I've learned so much since I started exploring here. Do you like exploring, Player? →  I love adventure! Me too! I used to dream about adventure, but I was also kind of scared of it at the same time. Now I'm excited to find new adventures every day! →  Only with my friends. Huh. I guess now that I think about it, there is a difference. The first time I went exploring was with Eugene, and I was really glad he was there. Now, I'm more comfortable having adventures on my own. How do you care for so much hair?

My hair? Well, it's not so hard. I brush it for a few hours every day. Or I used to... Now that I know how to braid it, it's not nearly as much work. →  So you have way more free time! Yes! I like to weave fresh flowers into it - and that takes time. But at least that's always fun! →  Do you miss brushing it so much? No. Not really. I use that time for other things that make me happy, like painting. And I do still brush it a lot, just not every day for hours. →  How much hair do you have? Oh, I'm not sure... Mother stopped measuring after 50 feet... and that was years ago.

I guess that's true... Is there one you wanted to talk about specifically? →  Baking and cooking. Well, I love making all sorts of treats. I even started inventing my own secret recipes! →  Knitting and sewing. Yes! I especially love making clothes for my friend Pascal... He's a chameleon. He looks so cute in little dresses. He was building himself pretend friends out of coconuts. player Right... He kept insisting that he could protect me. But I knew I could do things on my own. So I went back to the jungle. →  Gaston was the FIRST PERSON YOU EVER MET? What? No. There was always Mother. And Eugene... And the friends I made at the Snuggly Duckling. I had no idea there were so many nice people in the world! →  Isn't he amazing? He is very confident! He told me SO much about himself. Oh, and he really likes eggs!

But then you ALSO found out the world's not as bad as they made it seem — it's actually pretty wonderful... Would you forgive them? →   Only if they apologize. Oh. Tell me about your books.

Well, I read all the books in the tower I grew up in over 400 times each. Of course, I only had three. About cooking, geology, and botany. →  Geology? Yes! Did you know some rocks are made from tiny grains of sand being pressed together for a long time? Which is even more amazing now that I've actually seen sand! →  Cooking? Mm-hmm, that's where I found my favorite recipe ever: hazelnut soup! →  Botany? Yes. I read all about how plants can be used in medicine, which plants like which seasons, how to care for them... And I dreamed that someday I could see all the plants I've read about.

Tell me about yourself.

Me? Oh, um... all right! What do you want to know? →  What was it like in the tower? Well, it was kind of like my own little world. I was happy there most of the time. But sometimes I did get lonely... I wanted to go outside and experience the world. That's why I'm so glad you're here, Player! I love exploring with you. →  How do you paint murals? Well first, I make paints from plants and shells that Mother gathers. Next, I look for an empty space on the tower walls. Lately, that's been the hardest part. Then, I paint whatever I'm dreaming of. →  How do you keep your hair from getting tangled? Brushing. Lots and lots of brushing. So much brushing.

What are you afraid of?

Me? Well, I used to be afraid of lots of things... Mostly because Mother was so worried I'd get hurt if I left the tower. But I was probably most scared of quicksand... men with scary teeth... and rhinos. →  Quicksand? Yes! Mother said there's some on Eternity Isle, and it will swallow me up in a second. →  Men with scary teeth? Yes... Mother said they'd bite me with sharp, gnashing teeth, but... I've met several men now and that definitely didn't happen. →  Rhinos? Mother said a rhino is a huge creature, as tall as the tower. With a metal horn like a sword, and heavy feet to trample you. →  I think Mother Gothel exaggerated. You're probably right. The more time I spend outside, the more I'm realizing that. Now I know to look into things for myself. →  Are you going to face your fears? I am. Ever since I left the tower I grew up in, I've been learning that what Mother said isn't always true. And I know I'm stronger and braver than she ever thought I could be. →  Fear can be helpful. I suppose that's true. It does keep us safe from things that are actually dangerous. But it can also keep us from chasing our dreams. I'm never going to let that happen to me again.

• Why don't you wear shoes?

Well, I guess when I lived in the tower I never needed them, so I got used to it. Do you ever like to go barefoot? →   No, shoes are a fashion essential! Huh. I never thought of shoes as a way to express yourself before. But I bet it could be fun! What kind of shoes should I get to express myself? →  Some colorful, artistic shoes. Ooh, colorful like my paints? What a great idea! →  Some comfortable, athletic shoes. That could make running and climbing easier... I'll definitely consider it. →  You'll know them when you see them! Hmm... I wonder if they make painting, sculpting, climbing, running, cooking, reading, star-charting shoes... →   Sometimes, in sand or grass. Yes! I love feeling the earth under my feet. I waited a long time for that. →  What about mud? Well, it is a bit squishy and messy, but it comes right off. →  What are your opinions on puddles? Puddles...? player You know, jumping and splashing in puddles? Splashing in puddles? What a GREAT idea! →   Never! It's icky and dangerous. Well, it is important to watch where you step. That's why I'm always on the lookout for the dangers Mother warned me about, like poison ivy. →  Not to mention gum! Mother didn't warn me about gum. What is that? Oh, I guess you caught me daydreaming. Do you ever daydream, Player? →   I daydream about romance. A daydream about finding a special someone? That sounds really nice. →  Do YOU have a special someone? Me? A special someone? Like a– No, no, of course not. Well, I did have a friend for a short while; he had nice hair and this goofy smolder... But I don't think he–? I don't know– He... left. And I haven't seen him in a long time. →   I daydream about adventures. Those are my favorite daydreams too! Exploring, running free over the grass and under the biggest, bluest sky I've ever seen! I've done a little of that but not nearly enough. →  We'll make those daydreams come true! I couldn’t ask for a better adventuring friend than you, Player. Oh, and just so you know, I'm ready whenever you are! →  Everything's an adventure to you. I guess it is. When everything's new, everything's... amazing! →   I daydream about being famous. But now that I'm outside the tower, I think some of her rules might be a little, uh... →  Overprotective? Yes, exactly! I'm taking care of myself just fine... Right? →  Extreme! XXXXXX →  Totally made up. XXXXXX →   I was BORN to break rules! Wow, that's really rebellious! Sometimes, I wish I was more like that. →  You're more rebellious than you think. Huh... I guess I am.
