The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, 15 January 2025, 13:00 CET. Please follow our instructions for how to submit your abstract. EGU25 offers three ways to help you finding the best session where to submit your abstract within the programme:

Get a suggestion based on topic similarity
The EGU25 topic similarity adviser is an experimental tool developed and provided by Jan Sodoge, Computational Sociology for Extreme Events Research at the Helmholtz-Centre For Environmental Research, and implemented in collaboration with EGU Programme Committee and Copernicus. Authors can paste their abstract text into a search function and the tool uses all session titles and descriptions to recommend one or more sessions, by text similarity.

Aims & scope

The EGU General Assembly 2025 brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.
