I've just looked at your contributions. I was amazed at how many edits you've been making lately compared to what you used to. ~ JFBurton 14:29, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Whats that? ~ JFBurton 20:09, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Like the park infobox, I've noticed how to use it, so I've been adding it to all the NC State Parks. ~ Zanter 20:21, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

AutoWikiBrowser

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp 16:45, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

NC Parks

I agree the map needs to be cleaned up. The area is wrong. I will fix that. I get latitude and longitudes from TopoZone see the link here for Raven Rock [1]. Once you get familiar with Topozone it becomes very easy to use. I have been a "major" contributor to the List of PA state parks which is up for FLC here [2]. Take a look if you are interested. We are seeking input. Dincher 23:14, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I guesstimate the park locations. As you work with the map and locator dot you'll find it easier to use. I also have a AAA road map for North Carolina that shows the parks. I use this [3] too, but it doesn't show county lines. Dincher 19:46, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I see that you are using the new nav box. It makes things much easier doesn't it? Users Ruhrfisch, VerruckteDan and I have been updating nav boxes for state parks in NC, LA, DE and PA and have started a checklist at User:VerruckteDan/Geobox Protected Area to help us keep track. If you want to join in on the "fun" we'd love to have the company. Dincher 20:48, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikimania in Atlanta!

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 22:50, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Vandal is out to get you

I may already know about this, but some anonymous vandal using with an IP number of 85.228.96.26 seems to hold some sort of a grudge against you and has vandalized your userpage a few times. Just letting you know --Mr.crabby (Talk) 19:19, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject North Carolina Newsletters

WikiProject North Carolina May 2008 Newsletter

NEWSLETTER
Issue One • May 2008About the Newsletter

News

Cape Lookout Lighthouse

Hello WikiProject North Carolina members! A few of us at the The Newsroom Team decided to get together and re-energize the project, through these newsletters. This newsletter is hopefully the first of many to come. We want this project to be active in creating and expanding articles related to our state. If you're a current or former resident of the state, we hope that you will help spread the knowledge of how much there is to learn about North Carolina.

  • A great way to expand new articles is by keeping track of the new articles list. Please add any new NC-related articles or older ones you come across that have not been tagged with the project banner. When you notice an article has been added to the list, read over it and check for citations, grammatical errors, and spelling. If you've written a NC-related article in the past 5 days, read the requirements for Did you know... and add your article to the DYK nomination list. It might be chosen for the Main Page!
  • If you see a new member added to the project list, a great idea would be to leave them a welcome message on their talk page. Show them we notice new members and that we want them to become active participants.
  • If you have any questions in regards to the project, feel free to contact someone from The Newsroom Team. Thanks for all of your hard work and happy editing!

New commons category: American Tobacco Trail

I'm extensively improving categories on the Wikimedia Commons related to Durham and surrounding areas. I've created a new category: American Tobacco Trail. If you port your photographs of the trail to the commons, it will give them more exposure and a life beyond Wikipedia, so I'd like to encourage you to do that. --Specious (talk) 16:03, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Template:RHI Defunct Team Infobox

A tag has been placed on Template:RHI Defunct Team Infobox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
