- Comment: Wikipedia has little interest in what he says about himself, we report on what independent sources say. Theroadislong (talk) 13:10, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

Mahavatar Swami Bhai
editMahavatar Swami Bhai, also known as Victor Truviano, was born in Argentina in the 20th century. In the book El Estado Babaji. Tú, yogui, Vicente Tiburcio reports on Swami Bhai's biographical background. Tiburcio describes Swami Bhai's statements in the following sections. [1]
Early life
editSwami Bhai's identification of Mahavatar Babaji, a figure in the Kriya Yoga tradition, as his spiritual teacher. Swami Bhai's reported experiences of Babaji appearing to him and imparting knowledge. Swami Bhai's account of being visited by lamas in Buenos Aires at age six, who sought to take him for spiritual training, an intention his parents did not permit.[1]
Present day
editSwami Bhai describes his lifelong dedication to seeking spiritual understanding. He emphasizes meditation and silence as fundamental elements of his spiritual practice. According to Swami Bhai, meditation serves as a way to quiet the mind and connect with a sense of the divine. He also believes that silence allows him to tap into inner wisdom and guidance.[1]
At the moment, Mahavatar Swami Bhai resides in the Russian Federation.
His legacy
editIn 2018, a video depicts Sindhutai Sapkal appearing to acknowledge Swami Bhai in relation to a Yogaratna Award.
A video shows the late Shivakumara Swami participating in a ceremony with Swami Bhai.
Swami Bhai is seen receiving a Yogaratna Award in 2023 in a video by Vachananand (Shwaasa Guru).
Francisco Tomás Verdú Vicente, in his essay "Ayuno y espiritualidad. Límites entre el ayuno fisiológico e inedia" (Fasting and spirituality. Limits between physiological and inediated fasting), records Swami Bhai saying the following:
"He states that being pranic is a state of consciousness and this state has to cut through the patterns of need. Necessity has to do with connection and connection means separation and he is not separated from something, he is connected to the whole. It says that there is a state of consciousness that is beyond the time we are passing through now. To stop eating is only one detail of all the other possibilities that we have within us.[2]"
In his book, "Inedia, non-eating, fasting", Joaquim M. Werdin, makes reference to Swami Bhai's 11 days process.[3]In 2021, Sebastian Guzman published an essay on Scribd called "Victor Truviano's latest writings: An exploration of the pranic state and advice on nutrition and aging." In it, Swami Bhai explains briefly the 11 days process:
The process that is shared in 11 days, where we have the possibility to allow ourselves to experience the pranic state by consequences of the conscious mental learning, disobstaculating fears and their intelligible limitations, tangibilizing externalizing internal sensational states, also concretizing in the physical body.[4]
A YouTube video featuring Dr. Boris Aranovich purports to examine Swami Bhai's physiology, suggesting unusual physiological characteristics. However, the lack of certified documentation makes it difficult to establish this video as a reliable source for Wikipedia's purposes.[5]
In an interview with Supreme Master Television, Swami Bhai discussed his spiritual practices and beliefs. He described meditation as central to his path, stating that it allows him to achieve states of peace and connection with the divine. Swami Bhai also emphasized the importance of silence, believing it cultivates inner wisdom and tranquility.[6]
The platform Breatharian World features an article where Swami Bhai discusses his concept of "prana." He describes it as the universe's vital energy and states that since 2007, he has used it as his means of sustenance. Swami Bhai believes this practice transcends ordinary physical needs and deepens his spiritual connection.[7]
Swami Bhai presents his life and practices as an example of the transformative potential of meditation and silence, potentially leading to personal fulfillment and spiritual understanding.[8]
