Government of Mohammad Mokhber

Mohammad Mokhber was the acting President of Iran. He served his term as acting president and led an interim government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.[1][2] On 19 May 2024, after the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, Mokhber assumed the role and was confirmed in his position by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on 20 May.[3] The cabinet of Mokhber was inherited from the cabinet of Ebrahim Raisi. The main responsibility of this government was holding a new presidential election which the first round was held on 28 June 2024[4][5] and the second round on 5 July 2024.[6]
