By the logic of having it from opening of nominations to the result being declared, that would been the 2024 general election would have been from 3 June to 6 July

- 18:5618:56, 8 October 2024 diff hist −156 2024 Conservative Party leadership election Revert, because the next sentence of WP:CRYSTALBALL says "Dates are not definite until the event actually takes place". The next round happening is subject to no candidate dropping out, which means the next round happening is likely but not "almost certain". And the 121 figure is subject to nothing happening to any Tory MP in the next 24 hours. Also tables with blank columns to be filled in later are superfluous and poor presentation, which potentially causes confusion.
- 16:2316:23, 8 October 2024 diff hist −522 2024 Conservative Party leadership election WP:BOLD removing first two ballots, Stride and Patel from infobox as it is getting a bit overfull and therefore going against MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE (The less information that an infobox contains, the more effectively it serves its purpose). So removing info I think is less important, for other editors to decide what info they think is less important for the infobox
- 16:1216:12, 8 October 2024 diff hist −156 2024 Conservative Party leadership election →Results: Removing superfluous column that somewhat breachs WP:CRYSTAL, as it implies no candidate will withdraw and that no MP will be suspended etc.
- 01:2401:24, 8 October 2024 diff hist −938 2024 Conservative Party leadership election Consdering you've made two reverts, I can only be edit-warring if you are as well. Fact remains WP:Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, and we shouldn't state predictions (in politics), however likely, as certain fact, because they're not. The empty rows give no info that isn't elsewhere in the page. As an aside, the dates in the blank columns were wrong (see https://www.conservatives.com/announcements/leadership-election-2024) but that's not the crux of the issue.

A 3rd ballot is not certain, as there is still time for 2 candidates to withdraw. - 14:5914:59, 18 September 2024 diff hist +377 2024 Conservative Party leadership election Restore WP:STATUSQUO. The decision to remove eliminated candidates in the 2022 election was because of there were many candidates (8), and was based from a similar consensus in 2019, when there were 10 candidates. This meant early on in the elections, having all the candidates and all the ballots would have breached MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE. But at this stage on this contest, there aren't so many candidates that atm having all the results and candidates breaches MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE Tag: Undo

If you think there's too much info in the infobox at the moment to pass MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE, you can say that to justify removing two candidates, but in my opinion there isn't just yet, with only 9 numbers. - 18:2118:21, 17 September 2024 diff hist +5,340 Next United Kingdom general election Chessrat This technically constitutes a reversion of your edit, but I just remembered that User:Thomediter suggested for the last election's infobox that, before it took place, the number of seats won in the last election should be in the infobox, on the grounds that these are what the next election's results are compared to. So I've done this WP:BOLD edit so that this idea can be discussed, seeing as the discussion you cited in your edit has been dormant for a while.
