References
editUnlike so many others, this article has no lack of references. It would be nice, however, to have more Internet-based references for readers to access in order to find examples at their fingertips. This is the beauty of having a web-based encyclopedia, after all.
- I don't know about the level of authority for this page, but it has a good definition of "bargello" and images of many fine examples. It doesn't seem to be selling anything, either: http://bargello.org/
- Here are a few nice images, though the site remains undeveloped with out-dated "embrodery retreats" offered: http://www.bargelloarts.com/?page=10
- Illustrated how-to guide with stitich diagrams. However, it sells a few inexpensive embroidery patterns: http://www.needlework-tips-and-techniques.com/bargello.html
