Origin
editThe article identifies the place of origin as being Wisonsin, but the infobox says it comes from New Zealand. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.18.81 (talk) 22:42, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
After, for
edit"He named the cheese for the location at which.....". Shouldn't it be "He named the cheese after the location at which.....". 80.2.202.24 (talk) 18:07, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Shape
editAt all the grocers in my area the Longhorn style cheddar tastes like and has the color as the mild cheddar. However it always has two curved edges. Why is this? The Colbys, which are offered by the same brands at the stores, do not taste or look like the cheddars and the Longhorns. They are much milder. 66.43.221.225 (talk) 16:05, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
The "See Also" section has a link to American cheese. While Colby is a cheese that was created in America, "American cheese" by definition and law is a process cheese. History
editI don't think Colby was invented in 2012. Perhaps 1812 or 1912. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.236.60.228 (talk) 03:12, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
