Sources for the authoring of this Wikipedia entry were gathered from the webpages listed as references, and also from listening to the "Thinking Allowed" radio program that's quoted. Additionally, some facts were checked against an article in the Yorkshire Evening Post: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/video-and-audio?articleid=2926597 I welcome anybody correcting or adding to the article, especially if you've read the book "Nationality: Wog", which contains detailed research into the case. 81.155.246.1920:01, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Death of David Oluwale. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Hello all, I added an image to this page as part of a short-term paid project to share images of a year of culture that was held in Leeds. There's more on the project here and more images to make use of here, including more of the Hibiscus Rising sculpture. Many thanks Lajmmoore (talk) 10:45, 1 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Whilst Mr Oluwale was initially know to history as a result of his tragic death, he now surpasses GNG requirements for more than that unfortunate fact alone (SIGCOV of events both at the time of his death and more recently; things named in his honour; a Blue plaque, etc.). Is there any reason why this article shouldn't be named simply "David Oluwale" rather than the current (and rather morbid) "Death of David Oluwale"? -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 20:43, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Done: Thank you for the suggestion, Keith D. (Having never previously initiated the WP:RM process, appreciate if you would check to make sure this has been properly implemented.) Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 09:44, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oppose: Not much about the subject but a non incoherent article about his death, notably passed per SIGCOV. Much not found about the subject in this article to warrant the move. Strongly oppose. All the Best! Otuọcha (talk)13:31, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support There's a significant section on his life, longer than for other 'death of ...' articles and his life - his identity and his experiences - as well as his death, have shaped the legacies that make him increasingly notable Lajmmoore (talk) 15:17, 26 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
