This article needs to cite articles. Badly. Sybaronde 19:17, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anything specific? You could add {{fact}} at the end of an uncitied sentence that you believe needs one.--CM (talk) 23:15, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
It seems tightened up now. At the time of writing that first message, none of the sentences were had reference pointers. Sybaronde 21:49, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

NPOV

edit

Edited for grammar and flow. Inserted some updated information about the game. Removed some NPOV comments about Sierra disregarding fans. Removed a sentence about Sierra not having the rights to the original EEI scenario editor, as there was no citation or other evidence of this on the page.Nordee 03:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Now that it's shipped...

edit

The page still talks as if the game hasn't been released yet. I'm pretty sure it has (the fact the page hasn't been updated has made me unnaturally leery), and even if no one has played it yet to update the page with game facts, it should at least be grammatically changed to reflect that it is not currently in development, but that it has shipped and is now playable. As I said, the eeriness of the page has prevented me from doing so, so if anyone else (especially anyone who's played it) would like to, we'd all be much obliged. WP:VG assessment

edit

Rated this article low-importance, but I think this is still Start-Class. Don't let that put you off, though: this article is very solid and definitely has potential to get to GA. Here are some ideas to improve the article:

  • Currently the main thing holding this article back is the length of it. If the article were longer, but everything else were consistent (level of referencing, quality of prose etc), this would almost be B-class (the other factor is discussed below).
  • That "other factor" which would be required to get the article to B-class is at least one screenshot. Remember to include a fair use rationale when uploading images.
  • The lead section needs re-working: WP:LS. Try and summarise everything in the article in two or three paragraphs. Remember that the information in the lead section should also be elsewhere in the article.
  • To get beyond B-class you'll need more references - WP:CITE. If you get stuck, remember that you can use reviews to source the gameplay section. If you get really stuck you can use the game's manual, though use of primary sources should be a last resort.
  • Also, you might want to convert current citations to use the relevant citation template: WP:CITET.
  • Currently Gameplay is a good length and written at a good level of detail. However, you need to actually say what you do in the game. Something like the opening couple of sentences of Empires: Dawn of the Modern World#Gameplay would help tremendously.
  • Development section is a good length, but one- and two-sentence paragraphs should be merged - these hurt the quality of the prose.
  • Reception section needs expansion. A good guide it to start with an overview of how well it did, giving aggregate scores from Metacritic/GameRankings. Then say what's good and why, and then what's bad and why or vice versa. Have a look at the Reception sections at WP:VG#Example articles for a better idea of what to include.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Hope this helps, Una LagunaTalk 10:16, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nuclear Weapons

edit

I don't really think that it is right to say that nuclear weapons are a new development for EE III since you could get nuclear bombers in EE and EE II. Novaya Russia in EE:AoC could get a missile base and everyone can in EE II. TheTrojanHought (talk) 13:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Question.

Is this the last Empire Earth game in the series? RocketMaster (talk) 16:14, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
