Kent Fortress formation date
editThis article states that the unit was formed in 1932. This is not correct. The Royal Engineers (Kent Fortress) existed as a territorial unit prior to the First World War in 1914. My grandfather was a member of the unit prior to signing up with the regular army in September 1914.
