Ultra Beasts info
editis anyone going to put more info on the Ultra Beasts here? Nihilego and Guzzlord have pretty informative info... Visokor (talk) 14:31, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
- I haven't played Sun and Moon yet and am not too interested in its Pokémon myself, but I did notice while looking for Alola forms that news articles have reported on some of the Ultra Beasts. Finding sources shouldn't be too hard! I'd be happy to copy edit or give advice, if you are interested in expanding 794 to 799. ~Mable (chat) 14:57, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
- I actually have put some info in there too. Porygon-Z (talk) 19:56, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
Is there a reason that "generation" isn't capitalized on these pages?
editIf there is, please inform me. Paintspot (talk) 17:56, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
Marshadow
editWhy has Marshadow been removed from this list? Correctron (talk) 00:39, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- Marshadow is, at the moment, just data stowed away in the game, not something anyone professionally involved with the Pokemon franchise considers a Pokemon. Wait for it to actually get revealed as a Pokemon. This has been the consensus for many years. 85.167.89.119 (talk) 08:00, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
Zygarde
editShould Zygarde's Sun and Moon forms really be counted as generation VII in the lead? It's Pokédex #718 regardless of the form, plus the lead is the only place Zygarde is even mentioned on the generation VII page. TardisTybort (talk) 23:35, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
- No. Zygarde is still gen 6, so i think it should stay like that. But you could add notes about it. Porygon-Z 21:19, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Type: Full and De-evolution?
editIsn't Type: Full technically Silvally? Also when Faba put the restraining devices on Type: Null, wasn't that really the first time canonically that de-evolution happened? Porygon-Z (talk) 16:20, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
New Incineroar Article
editI (JTZegers) am drafting a new article for Incineroar. I don't want to spin off this so I am just letting you know. I saw a comment on my article about the old one saying that it was replaced by the redirect, and I think that the dude just has enough respect to make a new article about him. He has enough credit and appearances to have another article. Is this ok? JTZegers (talk) 17:37, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
- Yes you should make a Wikipedia article on incineroar, after all, he was featured in smash! 92.24.27.186 (talk) 14:34, 27 April 2021 (UTC) FoxGalah
- Make sure you have enough info and sources about him! Also could you do one about Sirfetch'd as well? UB Blacephalon (talk) 23:49, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
- As a Wikipedianer since 2006, I remember the old days when every individual Pokemon had their own Wikipedia article. Then there was a big discussion to get rid of them, so then every 10 pokemon had their own page but usually a paragraph. I see it is now broken by generations (roughly 100 per page). Seriously, we do not need to single-ly nitpick individual pokemon for their own page. There are already several Pokemon wikis for that. This nominating a particular pokemon for their own page is getting old, and tiresome? Sigh. And even though I am a Pokemon fan, I know if each pokemon had their own article on Wikipedia, it will never be as good and detailed as the Pokemon wikis, so really, each Pokemon does not need their own article on Wikipedia. 67.165.185.178 (talk) 23:29, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter anyway. The user who made that comment has been blocked. Link20XX (talk) 23:32, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
- Only pokemon who are famous and iconic (like incineroar and sirfech'd) need Wikipedia Articles 88.107.228.180 (talk) 10:45, 1 June 2021 (UTC) FoxGalah
I removed the fact that Ken Sugimori created Popplio
editAccording to Dr Lava, Ken stepped down as head designer and was only relegated to designing the regional variants, so there would be no way ken would have ever designed Popplio.
Incineroar
editThere is currently a discussion happening at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pokémon#Making Incineroar back into an article about making Incineroar back into an article. THE Pizzaplayer!TALK TO MEE!! contribs 14:55, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
Unencyclopedic wording
editAre the notes on entries like Bewear and Tsareena not worded a bit unencyclopedically? I didn't have time to check every one but at a glance it appears several others had this problem as well. Or is there something I'm missing? AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 04:39, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- yeah, i'll get there someday. shoutouts to tsareena's legs somehow being used to show off²
- as of now, i'm currently on the gen 2 list
- you have to see the gen 3 one, it's a complete disaster~ cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 12:19, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't realize this was such a ubiquitous problem. I'm glad it is being worked on. AllTheUsernamesAreInUse (talk) 22:49, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
