RE: CodyT3212Hi! To communicate with him, you should use their user talk page, not their user page: User_talk:CodyT3212. Every user or IP address has a talk page where you can communicate with them (the IP talk is bugged right now). Also whenever you revert vandalism or test edits, you should warn them using an appropriate message or warning. Some standardized messages can be found here. If they continue to vandalize, you can report them at WP:AIV where an admin can block them. --Hdt83 Chat 00:13, 8 September 2007 (UTC) Welcome to the Wikiproject! We have few rules or regulations, and even less formal organization. While much has been accomplished with New Jersey's communities, roads, schools, eelcted officials and more, there are always holes to be filled and articles to be expanded. If there is any avenue or area that you want to pursue, go for it. Feel free to approach me or the WP:NJ talk page with any questions, requests or guidance you might want. I wanted to add William Wong to the Oakland CA Chinatow page as a notable living author and journalist. Someone wanted that to be deleted. What other information is needed to verify this person's autheticity? Book: Yellow Journalist: Dispatches from Asian American, 2001, Temple University Press ISBN 1-56639-830-4 Acadia Publishing: Images of America: Oakland's Chinatown, 2004 ISBN 0-7385-2925-7 Acadia Publishing: Images of America: Angel Island, 2006 ISBN 978-0-7385-4719-0 Website: Yellowjournalist.com Oaklandchinatownhistory.org There's more references, but what's needed? Can I ask, though, that you let the authors know? The templates suggested on the speedy tag itself do a good job to let them know what's happening and what they can do about it. Thanks. Hello there, Dan. I couldn't help but notice your multiple revisions to this article. Just a word of advice and that is to be careful of WP:3RR. I do not think what the author is doing could be considered vandalism, so I think you need to be careful. You might consider reporting the article/user to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard. I put a note on the talk page about the article's notability, because I don't think it satisfies WP:BIO, but I haven't nominated it for an AfD yet because I want to give the author time to establish its notability and cite some references. Anyway, this is just advice, not a warning. Cheers and happy editing to you. Into The Fray T/C 14:35, 13 September 2007 (UTC) Fair use disputed for Image:Hitz.jpgThanks for uploading Image:Hitz.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Just a note on AfDs: when discussing articles that have COI/autobio issues, please avoid the use of the word vanity. While it might be justified, it's sometimes inflammatory. The content is not any different from the information posted on wikipedia for Bodog, another online entertainment company, or Girls Gone Wild. Personally, my only stake in this is that I am a subscriber to Tough Sports Live and I don't believe its fair for the United States government to regulate what people pay for on the Internet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Falvaz75 (talk • contribs) 19:00, 17 September 2007 (UTC) Signpost updated for September 17th, 2007.

Natalie 19:40, 24 September 2007 (UTC) AfDI noticed that you started several AfDs for articles with a rationale proposing a merge. Please note that, although "merge" can be a result at an AfD discussion, it is not a valid reason for listing it at AfD. R Delivery Bot 02:00, 27 September 2007 (UTC) Harlemacademyi was under the impression that on wiki student pages could be developed to research and create articles. We are attempting to create such a page for our elementary students to use, as they use wiki extensively in their classwork. As of now we have listed our mission and a general outline for what the site is to be used for, simply as a holding place until we can get our students on the site in the coming week(s). I know that I have encountered such wiki pages for schools in NY and MA. Can you please give me a concrete reason as to why our page has been flagged and what can be done to get in step with the wiki guidelines, as I have exhausted all options known to me. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Harlemacademy (talk • contribs) 19:39, 27 September 2007 (UTC) Dan, thanks for the update, I made a few edits on the page. I want to create a age that describes the school without being biased. When you get a moment, could you recheck (or anyone who may see this) and let me know what else may need to be done. We are not trying to use the site as a promotion, but rather as a tool for learning.
