Should I return?
Should I? Anyone care to bring me up to date on what I missed? --Kuban Cossack (По-балакаем?) 23:25, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
- Good to see you back in here!.. I've took a long break as well last year, but got bored of that and returned lol.. Nothing new, WP:SOVMETRO was closed down because no one was participating, but aside from that would be great to have some help in writing articles like we all used to. --ddima (talk) 04:33, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Btw, I re-wrote the Kharkiv Metro line articles some time ago and brought them up to a presentable state with lots of text. If you have anything to add it would be great. --ddima (talk) 04:39, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Of course you should return. We're all waiting for you impatiently:) Ukrained (talk) 14:33, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Same here—of course you should return. You know WP:RUSSIA can use all the help it can get, and so does WP:UKRAINE.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); February 20, 2012; 14:37 (UTC)
- Please return. Need your help with re-working and updating the Decossackization page. Some people keep removing all the references on the number of deaths there. It would be great to also create a new page on Holodomor in Cossack territories.ViktorC (talk) 03:43, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Vitya, Zdrastvuy! I wish to help you. I know I can help you. But I will not. Written below is a self-explanatory passage for the reason of my decision. In my userspace you are more than welcome to come to me for council and references, as well as opinions and recommendations. However I will not touch main article space on any topic that involves history and a potential political srach. For the foreseeable future, I will remain loyal to those terms. I've just cleaned my watchlist from any articles that are outside of my intended scope of work, which is to be purely technical transportation-related. --Kuban Cossack (По-балакаем?) 12:01, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks everyone! I am contemplating on doing so, but then again it took an arbcom to get me off this narcotic! In fact the reason I did not really participate and allowed myself to be banned, was partly because wiki was consuming so much time, that it left little for family life. Since then some very good things happened, my fourth born is now running around, and its been confirmed by beloved Olga is expecting yet another pair, to hatch sometime in summer (and it will be quits after six!!!). Business has been good, a small car restoration workshop that was originally but a family business, has now blossomed into a proper dealership, selling polished re-built Volgas, Mokvitches, Chaikas..., employing more than three dozen fellow stanichniki. Service has been alright, though I have now largely retracted into teaching Ju-jitsu (earned my 5th Dan last year!) to both Cossacks and anyone wishing to master this amazing martial arts. So don't expect a tempered Cossack! That said I will have to teach myself not to react to things like this, and instead focus on creating an equivalent for our cars. Dima what do you think? How familiar are you with this topic? --Kuban Cossack (По-балакаем?) 20:08, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- That's good to hear! Not really familiar with that topic though... but truthfully speaking I wasn't familiar with any of the topics I write about when I came to Wiki... It's a good topic, I'm sure I have some pictures of my mom's Moskvitch 407 that I could add into the articles :) --ddima (talk) 23:48, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- 407-y? Hope its still going! My Granddad has his Pobeda since 1954! That beast is still on the run, and he still drives it! --Kuban Cossack (По-балакаем?) 12:01, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
Decision
Ok gentlemen, I have decided to make a limited come-back. With a self-imposed topic ban on historical topic, particularly sensitive-topics where most of srach can occur. In fact see my reply to user User:ViktorC above. As for the rest, Ostorozhno Dveri Zakryvautsia. )) --Kuban Cossack (По-балакаем?) 12:01, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- Does this mean we'll finally see the metro articles cleaned up, brought up to snuff, and made into FAs? :) —Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); March 30, 2012; 12:10 (UTC)

Invitation to discuss on Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Cyrillic)
Hello! As there is already an only proposed Wikipedia guideline on naming conventions (Cyrillic). The proposal is still in development, under discussion and needs of gathering consensus for adoption. Since I am well experienced on this subject, I would like to criticize the official transliteration of Bulgarian as it gives too many errors, which also causes some losses of sounds “ǎ (a hacek”), decentralise itself from other slavic languages (“c” and “š” voices), which is also conflicting in itself (see street signs 1 and 2). By this revision, it is away from being accurate and not able to satisfy the needs of an encyclopedia which claims to be scientifical. These are the reasons I invite you to read Scientific transliteration of Cyrillic and involve the discussion in order to contribute a possible concensus. Wish to see you here thanks Manaviko (talk) 13:20, 5 April 2016 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Vileyka Voblasts. Since you had some involvement with the Vileyka Voblasts redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Si Trew (talk) 03:18, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
