Wikipedian summary

edit

I joined Wikipedia on March 6, 2006, and as of February 15, 2022, I have made 5,700 edits to Wikipedia in total, with 90.4% of those (5,027) being in the main namespace. Most of my edits are adding internal Wiki links within articles, as it bothers me when an article lacks them. I generally don't make in-depth edits, and leave those to editors more familiar with Wikipedia policy.

About Me

edit

I am a public library employee and a native of Manhattan who grew up in the Atlanta area for most of my life (high school in Roswell, Georgia, young adult life in Midtown Atlanta). In 2022, I moved to Columbus, Ohio, and in 2024 I accepted my fate as someone from New York and relocated to South Florida.

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in History, Technology, and Society in 2013, and Georgia State University with a Master of Heritage Preservation degree in 2015. In 2024, I began coursework toward a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

I spend most of my free time on Wikipedia. I am interested in history, especially in the history of Atlanta. I am an avid Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets sports fan, as well as a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

I am a trivia fanatic and was a contestant on the television show Jeopardy! in January 2018.

Previous Projects

  • March 2015: added geographical coordinates to articles relating to Atlanta. Pared down the list "Category:Atlanta articles missing geocoordinate data" to a small number of articles that, for various reasons, cannot have coordinates attached to them.
