License tagging for Image:Casas de Monleón.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Casas de Monleón.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:07, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

John Bodkin Adams is cited

edit

Please don't remove info from pages without giving a reason. In this case you removed the following:

-from the page on Plymouth Brethren. Not only is it a widely reported fact about Adams, it was cited and you should only remove such info with good reason. Do you have one? Or was it just an effort to whitewash the PB page? I'd be fascinated to hear an explanation. Thanks.Malick78 09:15, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are invited to participate in Wikipedia:WikiProject Latinos, a project dedicated to developing and improving articles about Latinos and Hispanics.
Currently, we are discussing prospects for the project. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I didn't see your message to me until today. No time to chat at the moment, but I'd love to hear about your thoughts on language. The linguistics bug bit me when I was 13 and I've been infectious ever since. Cbdorsett (talk) 04:48, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

hi

Hi. I found you in the category of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 15:15, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just wanted to say...

...that you are probably the most interesting user I've ever come across on Wikipedia. Seriously, just...WOW! Onur (talk) 17:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Awesome!

I read the "Beliefs" Paragraphs and WOW! I am a Christian and I had been to your page a couple of times, but I hadn't read that. I was thinking that I would object to some things but I read it anyway. That was the most truthful section I've like ever read (Apart from the Bible). I agreed with all of it and I want to tell everybody; that's exactly what I believe. Good explanations too. Have an amazing day! A.N.J. (talk) 23:47, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great point

edit

"In other words, the river would have to have been flowing uphill for millions of years before it would have eroded enough to have begun flowing downhill..."

Great point! Isn't it funny how many holes there are in the evolution fairy tale? The Biblical account of Creation makes perfect sense. Too bad more people don't realize that the answers are right there in the Bible and they don't have to keep searching. Just thought I'd let you know I got a laugh out of yet another display of their ignorance. Great user page! --Andrew from NC (talk) 11:37, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am an atheist, btw, and I respect your beliefs, however this is what I fail to understand.

The Biblical account of Creation makes perfect sense.

How does it make sense? It says that an entire planet was created in just six days and all this appeared out of nowhere? Including the being that created it all? I just fail to comprehend it. Babs rox (talk) 21:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welsh

edit

I read that you want to learn how to speak Welsh and thought I'd wish you good luck, not that you will need it, you appear to be an excellent linguist, and Welsh is the easiest language going. Very similar both to French and English.

Proofread please?

edit

Hi--I saw that you were listed as a Spanish proofreader... would you mind reading the Quintueles article that I just translated? I left a bunch of notes in the article's discussion page. (Its my first WP translation.) Thanks! --Jp07 (talk) 05:54, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Translation fr to en of featured french article Châlus

edit

Hi, I have contributed to the article fr Châlus, which is now featured. I am interested in its translation in en. Would you agree to translate it or a part of it? Sincerely yours. --Le grand Cricri (talk) 20:50, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why?

edit

Hi, Andy.

I am a Christian and I believe the Bible is the true.

I was greatly impressed by your section Beliefs.

Sorry for the question, but after something caught my attention in the history of your page. This:

- Goals in Life: Serve God
+ Goals in Life: Live a fulfilling human life

- Favorite book: Bible
+ Favorite authors: Richard Dawkins, Sean Carroll, J.R.R. Tolkien, Carl Sagan, Brian Greene...

- This user is a Christian
+ This user is an atheist

- This user believes in God
+ This user has been touched by His Noodly Appendage

- This user believes that life begins at conception

+ Ideas I accept (on overwhelming or a preponderance of evidence)
The Big Bang
Evolution
The non-existence of a personal deity
The material basis of the mind

Why are these radical changes?

I am also very impressed for your domain of languages. Awesome!

Thanks and sorry again for the question.

A big greeting.
