Cha-cha-cha

Traditionally danced by Cubans with the first step on 2, and the cha-cha-cha on 4 and 1. Can be heard very clearly on Beny Moré's recording of Santa Isobel de las Lachas (his home town). If the arrangement syncopates all the beats, then obviously dancers can do it anyway they please. But international latin competitions do demand the original timing. For teaching purposes, some teach beginners to start on two, whereas others start with the cha-cha-cha. This makes no difference so long as they fit correctly into the music. I left a note about some of this at Binoculars but also re: Talk:Bokeh, can you suggest reliable sources for your suggestions? (you don't have to if you don't want, prodding other editors with ideas is fine) We can see this stuff but we need more to add it. Usually when I notice something I google book search it and say "oh yea, some guy wrote about it". That's what we need for this kind of thing, the other guy writing about it (a secondary source).
