Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to List of Disney novelizations, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hi, just letting you know that it's not necessary to "fix" redirects, like changing links to 20th Century Fox to 20th Century Studios. Please see WP:NOTBROKEN. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 00:48, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
"Fixing" redirects
editPlease stop "fixing" redirects. Per WP:NOTBROKEN, there is nothing wrong with linking to a redirect, and this does serve a purpose. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:50, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at List of television programs based on films. Consider this a final warning – you've accumulated enough warnings now that the next stop is WP:AIV to seek a block. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:01, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

editHello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page List of Mickey Mouse films and appearances, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Réunion (stylised) - (talk to me) 03:02, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

editPlease stop adding links to disambiguation pages to the article List of IDW Publishing publications. You're doing this backwards. Disambiguation pages are navigation pages meant to guide users to the correct article, so each disambiguation page entry should have a link. But as a general rule, with some exceptions, article content should not include links to disambiguation pages. For more information, see Wikipedia:Disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages.—ShelfSkewed Talk 19:47, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to List of feature film series with 11 to 20 entries did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Disambiguation pages
editPlease note that disambiguation pages like Boy Next Door are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

Wikipedia and copyright
editHello 81.105.123.102! Your additions to Man from Interpol have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 00:07, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
