Hi there - I came across Dumhade of Ireland and I have redirected it to Dúnchad mac Cinn Fáelad - an pre-existing article that seems to be the same person. If you want to add any material to the latter from the former the page's edit history is still available. If you need any help, just ask. Ben MacDui 12:17, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 1
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited John Armitage (priest), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diocese of Westminster. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The article Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not enough in-depth coverage to show it passes WP:GNG. Most sources only show it in connection with Buniatishvili.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 15:08, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Userboxes in wrong namespace
editYou have created dozens of userboxes in the wrong namespace. Since they are not about building the encyclopedia, they need to be in user space—either yours or User:UBX's. Please see WP:UBXNS and WP:UBM. Unfortunately, this mistake is going to take a ton of work to clean up, and I don't want to do all of it. Would you kindly move them and update your list? I can then help fix transclusions (i.e. using AWB) if you'd like. – voidxor 15:12, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Lack of Wikidata
editHello. I have noticed that when you create an article at the English Wikipedia, you do not link it to an already existing Wikidata item. Whenever you create an article, you must do some research to try to find if a Wikidata item already exists; if a Wikidata item exists on the topic, you must link it to the WP en article you have created. This oversight of yours has made it so that there are now two articles on the same topic, see Talk:Isaiah of Gaza#Same article. See also my Wikidata contributions since 11:50, 15 March 2022, to see that I had to merge some of the Wikidata items of articles you have created into older, already existing Wikidata items.
Usually, a research is done by translating using Google translation to translate the title of your WP en article into other languages. My advice is that whenever something concerns EOrthodoxy, you must do your research on Google using at least Russian and Ukrainian translations of the title in English to try and find if there is already a WP ru or WP uk article on the topic. Another adivce: if a topic concerns primarily a country, do a Google search in the language of said country, e.g. French if a group is mainly in France. You must also do a research on Wikidata.

Speedy deletion nomination of National Distributist Party
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on National Distributist Party requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Well then we have a bigger problem, do not re-add that material, as it is a copyright violation. Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 12:30, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- Also, what is your connection to Pneman1880 Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 12:33, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- Respectfully, I do not see any copyright violation here. Also, I have very little connection to Pneman1880. I am unsure exactly who he is. I assume he too is a supporter of the NDP. A photo of the Wikipedia Page was put on the NDP's instagram, so I can only assume he came from there. Good day, sir. CalderRC (talk) 12:39, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- In an edit summary, you wrote,

, which unfortunately does signify a copyright violation. Anything someone publishes (online or otherwise) is automatically assumed to be copyrighted, and without evidence of permission from the copyright holder, we can't accept such materials. If you do have permission from the creator of the site to use its contents, please direct them to WP:DCM so they can release permission for that. National Distributist Party moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, National Distributist Party, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
And, one more thing: Do not edit for payment if you have not disclosed those payments, per the Terms of use. As a reasonably established editor, you really ought to know better by now than to do what you did with that article. I will make this very clear, you are a hairs breadth away from being indefinitely blocked for your actions on that article, namely undisclosed paid editing, copyright violations and meatpuppetry. This might seem harsh, but I want to make sure that the gravity of your actions is not in any way understated. Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 12:53, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:National Distributist Party
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:National Distributist Party, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Ways to improve Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St Andrew the Apostle
editHello, CalderRC,
Thank you for creating Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St Andrew the Apostle.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Nearlu all the references in this article are Primary references. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Voting for coordinators is now open!
editNominations for the upcoming project coordinator election have opened. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:40, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
