I know it might sound petty, but I wanted to point out that you can't use "fair use" images on user pages (that is, any copyright tagged as being used under "fair use" grounds). In fact, they shouldn't be used anywhere outside of the article namespace, see Wikipedia:Fair use#Policy. The reason I point this out is that you use Image:PortsUni.png, which as a logo, is only on Wikipedia under fair use grounds, on your userpage. Thanks for the link, I've used it to upload Image:University of Portsmouth.jpg, which is a more up-to-date and higher quality version than the previous logo we had. Unfortunately, the fact that they allow you to use the logo doesn't constitute "free use", it's (undoubtedly) still copyright. For as long as the image is tagged as being licensed for use on Wikipedia only under "fair use" grounds, it is breaking our policy for the image to be used on your user page (in fact, it could be technically seen as breaking copyright law, since you can't really claim fair use on a page which doesn't illustrate the university). Your only choice is to either ditch the logo, or tag the image under a different license (if you can find proof that it's licensed in some other way, such as with no rights reserved as {{NoRightsReserved}} for example). Sorry! Would you prefer to do the uploading yourself? I would also suggest tht 300px is the standard infobox width in WP ships articles, so this may be a more appropriate image width size. Some time ago you queried whether this article should be removed. Please see my response on this matter. I am concerned that this complete error should be put right by deleting the article which is totally nonsense. You were correct in questioning whether this article was valid. There was never an Ariel class of destroyer among the early TBDs; in fact, looking at the list quoted under List of destroyer classes it is obvious that some one inadvertently typed "Ariel class" when they meant "Ardent class". I have corrected the List of destroyer classes article (which incidentally also omitted the Zebra class destroyer from the list of 27-knotters) but someone should remove entirely the incorrect article on the non-existant Ariel class. Incidentally, I have in my possession the complete Thornycroft summary records and will (when time permits) be producing a consolidated book on the entire Thornycroft output. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. For an image to be considered "free" under Wikipedia's Image use policy, the license must permit both commercial reuse and derivative works and therefore any images tagged with User:JonEastham/Copyright may have to be deleted unless this issue can be resolved. There are some inaccuracies on the page that I would like to bring to your attention. My name is Kathy Wendolkowski and I am a transcriber on the project Old Weather, which involves entering weather data and narrative log information from WWI era Royal Navy ships for use in models and by any interested party. I have worked on the logs for Aphis. The wiki article states that the Aphis was in Romania for WWI, but her logs - at least for Feb, 1916 thru April 1916 - she was in Port Said, as well as other North African ports. I know this is not an earth shattering revelation, but we have instances of people researching their family's involvement in the War, and so, to me, it is important for the information on these ships be as accurate as possible.
