Template:Current
editHi Longbyte,
Thanks for your edits at Flame (malware). I'm not sure it needs the current event template, though; per Template:current, this should only be used if hundreds of editors are editing an article on the same day, which seems unlikely to happen here. Would you be willing to remove it? Cheers, Khazar2 (talk) 16:39, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll remove it. Longbyte1 (talk) 19:31, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
The Powder Toy deletion appeal
editThis help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
This is completely confusing how to make appeals for deleted articles. I can't find news about The Powder Toy because news writers haven't bothered to write about it, and therefore the article is automatically deleted. Besides the news, the game/simulator is very popular through videos and the community, and there are many Google keywords for The Powder Toy. How long do I have to wait until the community explodes and the article can be finally restored? Longbyte1 (talk) 21:10, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
- The venue is Wikipedia:Deletion review, but can you please tell me what it was deleted for so we can help you further? Thanks, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 22:45, 1 July 2012 (UTC).
- It was deleted for lack of notability and in an AfD (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/The Powder Toy). This was a long time ago, and the excuse was that it wasn't found on Google. Same with Garry's Mod except that it WASN'T deleted because someone just bothered to post news about it. 23:05, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

You've been mentioned in a WP:AN/I discussion regarding the Criticism of Wikipedia page
editHello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Criticism of Wikipedia. Thank you. Thryduulf (talk) 11:19, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Criticism of Wikipedia
editYou commented in the RfD discussion about Criticism of Wikipedia at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2012 August 5#Criticism of Wikipedia. That discussion was closed as "moot" due it having been unilaterally converted to an article during the discussion. I chose to boldly implement the apparent consensus of that discussion and the previous discussions linked from it, and reverted it to a disambiguation page. That action has been reverted due to a perceived lack of discussion. I would welcome your comments at Talk:Criticism of Wikipedia to see if consensus can be reached again for an dab page, article or redirect. Thryduulf (talk) 00:41, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:KSPscreenshot.png)
editThanks for uploading File:KSPscreenshot.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:07, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined
editI just wanted to let you know that I declined your speedy deletion request on Broha valley. WP:CSD#A7 is only for people, individual animals, websites, and organizations (including companies, bands, etc.). However, that article is on a place, and, as such, is not eligible for A7 definition. I replaced the nomination with a 7 day prod. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:41, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Please do not remove copyvio speedy notices unless you fix the copyvio, as you did not the tad has been reverted. LightGreenApple talk to me 00:18, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/NullCrew
editHello Longbyte1. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "NullCrew".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/NullCrew}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 01:00, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
