Hello, I'm Darrman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sonic Adventure, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Preceding undated comment added 13:14, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes everywhere!

edit

Hello there! I'm a Teahouse host, a member of WikiProject Userboxes, and a member of the User Page Design Center! I noticed your question on the Teahouse question forum and figured I would leave a note on your talkpage offering any assistance you may need. Feel free to browse through the userboxes I created and using any of them you like. If you have a request for a specific userbox, let me know and I'll see if I can't find you the current options or we can collaborate and create a custom one specifically designed based on what you would like. Feel free to paw through the code and see what I have done on my userpage and let me know if you want any of those goodies on your page. Happy editing!!! Non-free rationale for File:Sangria-Senorial-Logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Sangria-Senorial-Logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:05, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Waldo (Species), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waldo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

AIV notice

edit

Hello. Please note that your report to AIV here was invalid. You indicated that the editor had vandalized after a final warning. If you look at the contribs and the time of the last warning, the warning was left after the last edit. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:26, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Pavel Nedvěd

edit

Hi Pokebub22,

sorry about my mistake in the Pavel Nedvěd article, I had no intention in erasing that chunk of code whatsoever, nor in doing any vandalism. I guess I didn't double check before saving the page.

Cheers! Sepguilherme (talk) 19:43, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

August 2013

edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to July 23, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 00:45, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Article Feedback Tool update

edit

Hey Pokebub22. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.

We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.

Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) 21:44, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Todd Mills.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Todd Mills.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:50, 4 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Renee Paquette may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s and 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
