Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bridger, South Dakota, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please stop adding the school district without a source to support your edit. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:00, 24 December 2021 (UTC) How do I cite Google Earth as a source though? - PulletKeeper (talk)Reply

You would cite the specific school board webpage that supports your edit. How would Google Earth know what the school board is? STOP ADDING UNSOURCED CONTENT. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:50, 24 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Stop and discuss

edit

Please stop and discuss before adding more subdivision information into Wikipedia articles. Usually this information is not important, especially not important enough for an article's lead sentence. As well, I do not believe "homefacts" is a reliable source, nor indicates the importance of that information. Best, ɱ (talk) 17:42, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Use edit summary

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Raydann (talk) 14:41, 28 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hymns as Culture of (small region)

edit

I don't agree with categories limiting a hymn as the culture of a small region, simply by where it was written. "Lobt Gott, ihr Christen alle gleich" belongs to the culture of all German-speaking countries, for example. There's a little difference to "Menschen, die ihr wart verloren" which used to be of only regional importance, but as of 2013, it entered the common German Catholic hymnal, and we sing it in Hesse as well. The category creates the impression of limited importance, I think. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:36, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
