Disambiguation link notification for January 28
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Area codes 418, 581, and 367, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sainte-Monique, Quebec. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Carignan City Council moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Carignan City Council, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. * Ensure that color is not the only method used to communicate important information. Especially, do not use colored text or background unless its status is also indicated using another method, such as an accessible symbol matched to a legend, or footnote labels. Otherwise, blind users or readers accessing Wikipedia through a printout or device without a color screen will not receive that information.
- Links should clearly be identifiable as a link to our readers.
- Some readers of Wikipedia are partially or fully color-blind or visually impaired. Ensure the contrast of the text with its background reaches at least Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0's AA level, and AAA level when feasible (see WCAG's "Understanding SC 1.4.3: Contrast (Minimum)"). To use named CSS colors for text on a white background, refer to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/CSS colors for text on white for recommended colors. For other usage, here is a selection of tools that can be used to check that the contrast is correct:
- You can use a few online tools to check color contrasts, including: the WebAIM online contrast checker, or the WhoCanUse site, or Snook's Colour Contrast Check.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Richibucto into Beaurivage. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:33, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

editHello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Aloha27 talk 15:45, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

editWhat are you plans with these articles? Why were the infoboxes removed? There is currently a discussion going on about merging the articles at Talk:Eeyou Istchee James Bay. List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan
editI'm not sure how helpful or relevant it is adding List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan to rural municipalities in Saskatchewan. I didn't mass revert because I wanted to discuss with you first. Rural municipalities, as you know, aren't communities. Shouldn't List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan be added to just actual communities that are franophone? I can't see how it's relevant to the rural municipalities. Help me out. Sandbox pages
editPlease note that sandbox pages such as your User:Roncanada/sandbox are not allowed to be filed in categories as if they were already finished articles. Categories must stay off the page while it's in your sandbox, and may be added only if and when the content has actually been moved or copied into the main article space as a real article. editHello, I'm Flibirigit. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, International Ice Hockey Federation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. - I did not ad a new source because the pre-existing source is dynamic (ref name="IIHFMemberStructure") which means that the information find on the website is regularly updated. Therefore, by using the same source already mentioned, I just updated the statistics with the current numbers as it's written on the IIHF website. Roncanada (talk) 18:29, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
