Notability of Ian Galbraith

A tag has been placed on Ian Galbraith requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Faculty of Philosophy, University of Oxford

What is your source for the whole section called "History of Philosophy at Oxford"? Reference 3 given at the very end of it is to "W.J. Mander, Harris Manchester College". What sort of reference is that? How can the reader check it? Frankly the whole of this section looks like a copyright violation to me, as it looks like it is taken direct from an essay or review. Please explain this section, or it will be deleted. I have also fixed up your links and removed the lists of professors as these are all in the articles on the various chairs. --Bduke (Discussion) 02:02, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

I had not checked reference 1. The whole of the history section is copied direct from there. It is therefore a copyright violation and is unacceptable on wikipedia. I have removed the whole section. --Bduke (Discussion) 02:21, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
