Donald Hoobler was an NCO with E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment (United States) during World War II. Neither his rank (corporal) nor his highest award (Purple Heart) make him notable under WP:SOLDIER. Hoobler died during the Battle of the Bulge when a trophy weapon accidentally discharged; he has no general notability. Georgia Army Vet Contribs Talk 14:21, 1 September 2017 (UTC)

- Delete no where near meeting the notability guidelines for a soldier.John Pack Lambert (talk) 07:58, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Delete, non-notable for stand alone article; re-direct name to E Company, 506th Infantry Regiment (United States). Kierzek (talk) 18:13, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Delete as failing notability. No redirect as would not be clear if actual person, or the TV series/actor in same is target. GraemeLeggett (talk) 09:41, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
