The image appeared three years ago at what is now talk: Pi/Archive 7 #Every circle contains an equilateral triangle of 60 degree. The discussion contained, inter alia, such declaration made by the image’s author:

Apparently, the image expresses original thoughts of the author that π = 3, not illustrates such obsolete misconception (which would be perfectly legitimate), and thus shall be burned. Probably other uploads of the same author have to be deleted too, to prevent pollution of Wikimedia Commons. Also, Wikipedians may strike at commons:File:Mans number.jpg (which was transferred for an unknown reason), although that image is not especially dangerous because is obviously messed up and geometrically incorrect. - Delete the caption is just wrong, the circumference is 10π ≈ 31.4. Without the caption the diagram does show the circumcircle has twice the radius of the incircle for an Equilateral triangle so it could potentially be cropped. However it would be better the make such a diagram from scratch in svg.--Salix (talk): 09:08, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
