- Tools: Editor interaction utility · Interaction Timeline · SPI Tools
Both editors exhibit a strong overlap of areas of interest, with ~60% of each editor's edit count impacting the same articles. [1] Both editors act in long sequences of edits, and both have edited at the same time of day, but their sequences of edits have not overlapped that I can see. [2] When adding wikilinks to people, one uses the edit summary "highlighted name", and the other uses "underlined name". Ongoing ANI may have more behavioral details. - The activity of the Gingeksace and Nihaon accounts relates solely to the creation of c.60 closely related articles re: a single author and his circle.
- Incidents of the 2 accounts not editing simultaneously but apparently tagging each other in and out can be seen in their contribution histories on Sept 1, 15, 17, 19, 20 & 22.
- Other accounts exhibiting the same SPA range of interests and the same long sequences of edits include: [3], [4], [5] and [6].
- Those accounts are all stale, but they indicate the persistent nature of the socking.
- Also, previous SPI from 2015 when this all seems to have happened before: [7] Axad12 (talk) 13:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)

Behavioral evidence based on the large amount of edits to Empathism, as well edits to Menotti Lerro, the Cilento International Poetry Prize, as well as the response to the COI inquiry left on their talk page - it sounds very similar to the other socks. Heremsun (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) A likely sockpuppet just showed up on Menotti Lerro's Afd WP:Articles for deletion/Menotti Lerro (2nd nomination) to !vote "Keep" on their very first edit on WP. Exactly the same communication style, wording, sentence structure, grammar errors, etc. as Gingeksace and their other socks. Could an admin look into this please? Netherzone (talk) 16:44, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Strangely, something very similar happened during the 2015 AfD (scroll right to the bottom here [8]). Socks got blocked and then another one appeared at the AfD. It's like deju vu all over again... Axad12 (talk) 16:53, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- The 2015 sock/block evasion can be seen at the bottom of this version of that AfD [9], prior to the sock interventions being deleted. Axad12 (talk) 17:11, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

edit- Blocking on behavior; the way the September 22 edits look was enough for me. Leaving CU request. Izno (talk) 16:39, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Confirmed, No sleepers immediately visible. In relation to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Leicesterdedlock which Axad12 mentioned above, it's Possible, but I'm working with nine year old data, so don't put much weight on it. Any conclusion should be reached behaviourally. Blocked but awaiting tags. DatGuyTalkContribs 17:26, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Netherzone: Figaro is stale. CU data expires after three months (m:CheckUser policy). DatGuyTalkContribs 01:01, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- I blocked Heremsun as Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me but if a CU needs to take it over, feel free. That was just to stop disruption Star Mississippi 00:56, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
